tempted by the 4nine mod.. but i might need a >22m mod for the taifun gt and the squape.. after looking some candidates, the atom is my fav ( $20.66 APVMODZ Telescoping Electronic Cigarette Mechanical Mod-Silver ).
can you shed a light about this mod thread compatibility with chi you spares (kick ring for 18650+k mode, top cap), switch quality and so? (i mean the FC clone)

For a charger i got NiteCorei4 from FC. I'm pretty happy with it, sits flat on table in rich all the time.

Caravela is nice. Just stopped in at a local shop. Saw all the new mods they had. The black Vela is calling my name. Looks so stunning in person.
When I first started vaping I went to that shop. Just a beginner with a Spinner and Aspire tank. This time I had my brass Stingray and the Stillare. It caught the workers eyes and then the convo started. Let him give it a try and he just let this thing rip. Priceless to just hear "Damn!!" Over and over. Starts to look at the engravings and ask where I got it from. Theirs apparently doesn't have a deep engraving. But yea that Black Vela with accents of brass.....OMG (drool)....... Someday my friend, soon.

I'm still can't stop to twist my neck looking at copper caravela. I do understand i do not need copper mod power but can't resist love to copper (i'm like that stupid bird - shinnies!!!) i would pull trigger if i see one in 350 mod, but i only had seen 650 one. Copper vela looks sexy as well. I'm now waiting for cheap clone stingray, i did try Nemmy (love it) only need to try caravela. But something in my heart telling me about Vinilla original mod. Anyway from all chip clones i will get one favor and get authentic one.

This is what I'm carrying today. It hits hard.
I will compare this to the black Copper Stingray later this week.
On Tuesday I'm getting a real mod for the first time. All copper in 26650 and 18650 mode from my buddy Drifter. He told me there is barely any voltage drop. Can't wait. Made from him as well in the US. I'm jelly.

but it's not my fav for some reasons:
1. 18650+kick is not possible (while atom + chi you kick ring would probably work).
2. i'm not fan of polish finish (scratches, etc are more invisible in brushed finish), not like the stupid bird, lol, Laylel, but the one i'd prefer from FC is polished.
3. have read about many issues with some attys related to the vela center pin.
so i should go to a physic shop to get flashed with those stunning velas in person (i liked very much your story, G-weezy..).
but hummm.. today Real Madrid beats Atletico de Madrid at the european champions league (soccer) in Lisboa.. and today you have suggested this portuguese mod to me.. i use to hear to this kind of coincidences, and i love Portuguese people, language and country.. maybe i'd feel proud of vaping on a caravela which is floating on shiny plated sea..

That Atom clone is supposed to have 20x1 threading, and so its compatible with other mods of the same threading, and I believe that the Chi You is also 20x1. I like the Atom mod, and I used to go back and forth between it and the Astro .. the Astro won, and it also 23mm (22.8 to be exact).
There are several 23mm mods out there to chose from, so its just a matter of finish and style to decide on. The Nzonic, Chi You, Astro, Atom, King II, EHpro Caravela, and what I call the "FCpro" Caravela skiu 13537, and the Black Turtle Ship V2.
Gurlfriend I am right there with you, I LOVE THE VANILLA MOD, and have loved it for a long time. I would consider the higher price tag for that mod, and there are not many originals that I can say that about ... The Turtle Ship V3 is another one

Yes, you can kick the Atom and Chi ... you can also kick the Astro. You should also consider the Nzonic for its 23mm diameter and magnetic switch.
The Vela is a beauty, but you are dead on about the up keep of a mirror polished mod. For me, those are "at home only" mods, and I love them dearly. Actually vaping on my polished Vela in 350 w/Taifun nano kit right now
The 23mm Vela's at FC do not have the same center pin issues as other Vela clones because one comes with three different size 510 pins (350 only Vela), and the other has dual adjusting copper pins.
