It's growing on me, Nikki - do you think it would be clone-kickable with a 350 batt? Don't know why I'm even asking - haven't found one yet that can be. Why'd they have to make those things so tall?

Aww kisses darling, I was only teasing ;-) .. As far as kick compatibility? Well, I do know that the authentic is kick compatible based on Mark Todd's review, but not sure about the clone kicks because they are bigger than the authentic evolv kick.

Also, me thinks that Mr. Mark Todd may have reviewed a prototype SR X because he said his X had a different thread pitch than the prior authentic SR's, but I have a friendly acquaintance at another forum who also owns an authentic JD SR X, and he has confirmed that his threads are 20x.5 ... Or was my friend was sold a clone as an authentic?

I do actually like the look of the black and gold on the stingray, not the x though, it was just done badly on the one I got, and don't want to spend another $25-30 on another, only to get another bad one, so my stingray days might be over

So that was my time done using them, think it was bad they sent a replacement switch and didn't even have anything to say why, yes the replacement wasn't much better, but that is not the point.

Oh I got to know the story now, I will have to go searching, will not sleep till I find it.....ok might of pushed it at the no sleep part

Received my Infinite KFL+ V2 today, haven't had time to clean it and set it up yet so just have first impressions of manufacturing quality. It is steps above the Tobeco and on par with the EHPro. I would subjectively say not identical to the EHP, but similar construction quality and precision. The EHPro seems slightly heavier, I'll have a better impression when I play with it later. Now I have to figure out how to get the nano top cap off the top tank section without using pliers

The other thing that came in that envelope is the replacement top cap for my SS Stingray. Yay! I can finally start using that one normally.

Oh Yay! You finally received your replacement, that is awesome hun .. The nano top cap can be tricky to unthread because there is not a lot of surface area to grab onto, but you should definitely be able to unscrew it without pliers my dear. Please don't go "all man" on your new kit.

Nailz, have you seen the 3 piece semi-hybrid adapter that FastTech sells? If so, then you know what you get with the improved top cap on the 4nine. If not I'll try to explain. Its a disc of brass, the diameter of a 510 connector. Its outside is threaded and screws into the delrin insulator of the 4nine top cap. The bottom has a slot for a screwdriver and the top has a small nipple which makes contact with the center pin of the atomizer. You thread the problematic atomizer into the top cap then screw this disc into the underside of the top cap. Tighten until its snug against the atomizer center pin but still has a bit below the delrin insulator. You now have a way for the battery top to connect electrically to the center pin of the atomizer without contacting the outer threads of the 510 connector. Since the top cap of the 4nine is so thin, you'll most likely not be able to get the atomizer flush.

Only if you want an engraved switch, instead of the laser etched switch that comes with it my darling British boo. Also, I feel like the engraved switch works better than the etched one, somehow they differ in feel, at least that has been my experience.

Thanks Nikki, the Stingray is happy. I've had 3 different toppers on it tonight instead of the poor thing being bound to only one. I think it enjoys playing the field a little

I guess the little top cap can stay where it is for now since it seems to like it so much. That's a battle for another day. On a different note the one thing that's missing from the Infinite version is the baggy with the spares. Good thing I had one from the EHPro because it had a stripped coil mounting screw, and yes I'm certain it came that way, no spontaneous testosterone spike involved IMHO quality/qc is a little better on the EHPro, but it should be since I paid almost twice as much for it. Considering the nano kit the Infinite is undoubtedly the better value.

Got a pair of Nemeses from the group buy in the mail yesterday Pretty good, for $12, great. 18490 tube appears to have been made on a different lathe in a different factory for some other item, but whatever. These cost 2/5 what my hcig did.

That other place had 2 different wooden atomizers. Looked like they took the standard Kanger style single bottom coil replacement coil. Ugly designs IMHO but you might like one. I liked the dragon you got along with the other dragon design but decided against adding them to my wishlist there because focalecig has a number of atomizers I'd like and at this point my mods are outnumbering my atomizers about 2:1.

I really didn't need that second 4nine from the group buy but the brushed brass finish looks even nicer in person. Then I went completely overboard and got the Stingray X when it hit the USA warehouse. I don't feel too bad because it really does look nice and a Kayfun looks great on it with the semi-hybrid adapter. Of course that means that the original design stainless steel Stingray it was on is now sitting here, alone, unused, poor thing

They really have to do atomizer group buys, perhaps the Fogger or a nice Kayfun, in black please

As far as RBA suggestions, why not a Kayfun darling? Its rebuildable, there are ton of them to choose, and I think this new mech would look nice with one, and you could use one of the clear M-Tanks as well.

We will be waiting for pics of both Crocky .. and I curious about this special authentic box mod too. ... In other news, I received the Kanger Aerotank Giant from Vaporbeast today for review. Not stoked about reviewing it unless I have a 26650 to use with it, so we will see how that pans out.
