Drifter you are making us feel inadequate  Because you can go work and poof wallla, whip out a mod stand at any time  Your Cartel display is boobaful :D

And your Heron and Vela is some sexy ish for reals! I always meant to get a proper 22mm Vela, both of mine are 23mm (EHpro and mystery maker)

Little vape porn for ya all today :D

Tried my new GP Heron in Hybrid mode on my Caravela in 18350 mode.
I'm really liking this setup but have dedicated the Heron to one of my GP's when they come in soon.

Made a stand for my Cartel's today, left a space for the Copper one when that comes in too :)
Might have to make another one for the 3 GP's to keep them as a set as well :D

I'm really liking these Cartels in 18500 mode, seems to be a nice balance of aesthetics and size for me so I went ahead and order some more Purple Effest's to go with them.
Them TOBH drip tips seem to make any atty look great :D

Hiya Kikki errrr Nikki! : Do they take too long to ship from the USA warehouse?

Hey Art :) You can call me Kikki too, this name also suits me :D It usually takes 24-48 hours to ship out, so I would think that your order will definitely be shipped by tomorrow. I have only ordered once before from the US Warehouse, and it took two days to arrive from GA to NY.

The only reason mine shipped so quickly is because I was up late night talking to Doris on skype while she was setting up the sku's and product pages, so my order was literally the first one into the system last night.

... my black FOL arrived today... There is a big voltage drop with the mod being black and the threads being coated, really wish these mod makers would stop coating the threads on the mods, but I knew this when ordering the mod and was already prepared for this. After running copper tape the length of the tube and adding nolax on the threads to top and bottom cap, it decreased the voltage drop a lot.
I've been reconsidering getting either the polished stainless or black Fire of Life (why don't they just say Ember style like they do with so many other clones) just so I have a 23mm mod for my Taifun, just to make some people happy ;)

Then I think that neither would look good with the blue, but they might go with the gold Taifun instead. I'm thinking black would look better. Which finally gets to my question... How difficult, time consuming, was it to fix the black version with the copper tape? Next does No-ox-id (I'd think that'd be better than Nolox since that's designed for aluminum) make that much difference? Is it worth the $20 it'd cost to get some? This is coming from someone who tries to spend just $25 a month for 120-150ml e-liquid because that's what I can afford.

Finally, I could have said that I was going to use the Taifun on my Nemi. What do you think, would 23mm on 18mm look odd? ;) Of course I could wrap the Nemi in lotsa duct tape

How about suggestions for a brass 23mm mod that doesn't have a switch that requires superhuman strength to fire? Just in case the Manhattan that just arrived is 23mm, I know I'd have problems with the switch.

Did you call me Kikki on purpose or accident? I like that nickname, but only one person has ever called me that before ... you can call me that

Now that we've got you at least up to 9, we gotta find you one more Porter so you can be authenticated as a true Playa  You will need 20 for Platinum status though, but I promise not to treat you any differently until that time  I am an equal opportunity Temptress

That was by accident. What is funny is when I typed it something did not "seem" right about it. So I stopped and read what I had typed but I did not catch that I had made a typo. I think I spent too much time trying to get those two Manhattans last night and this morning. I am running on about four hours of sleep, which is not enough.

If the red Manhattan and the copper Manhattan prove to be really good mods, then I am going to have to make a decision on the purchase of my tenth mechanical mod. MMVapors has promised that they will make a few copper Nanos mods and I really want a copper Nanos to compare to my brass one. But I could buy a black Manhattan and save a lot of money. Then I would have the Focal Trio of Manhattans.
I am quite sure you and others on this thread will help me find all the mods I need to get to the Platinum status very soon.

Thank you! I understand it is more than 22mm diameter, now I need to find a topper that looks good on it.

Lol, duct tape is a nice idea!

At first I was also wondering why the just didn't call it the Ember clone, but then I found the manufacturer, which is Joylifee, and that is how they sell the clone, as the Fire of Life. So that is also how FC bought it, not even realizing that the original is called Ember.

That looks really good Weezy :) Ever since you mentioned it to me, I have been meaning to make one too .. can you show me a picture of your light box hun?

Snap one for ya when I get home. Still at work :( :grr:

I used a cardboard box, cut squares out of the top and sides. Lined them with wrapping paper for the lamps. Grabbed a black posterboard and taped it up. All that was under 10 bucks at Walgreens, Carboard box was free at work :)

My next one I will make it out of PVC tubing and white cloth to cover.

I was just looking at the ready-made ones on eBay last nite - you know, the cheapo ones that fold up and come with two lights and 4 backdrops - no good?

shopping

Damn those spendy. Can get 2 mods with that. Run to HomeDepot or Menards and get PVC tubing and 3 way ends for cheaper. Or my cardboard box way :)

Boom!!! Easy Peasy
