Saw the message this morning that all ZNA's in 2nd batch would ship within 10 hrs. Well mine still says collecting. I am at 10 days for a promised 2-7 days to process. This was my first and probably my last order from Focal. This is worse than fasttech. By the time they get around to shipping I will be able to buy locally. Guess I must be in the 3rd batch???

No it's not below the surface. The V3 is smoother than the Special Edition from FC.

Damn baller!!!!! Vapemail coming in on the daily.

If you want to taste the CL. Try a .80 coil in the Taifun and vape it. The flavor should come out much better.

Well .. too bad no one is sending me a camera cuz mine just died  That's right folks, right in the middle of snapping pics  .. I did get a good bit of vapemail this week, including today but its all work so it doesn't feel the same, not as exciting. :p

Weezay ... what is CL??

Hi Nik, nope! still "processing". I don't get it.... I ordered on the 18th for crying out loud. ohwell... guess my order fell between the cracks. I ordered that Orchid the morning it hit and it's still processing aswell. mind you I had to order from wallbuys because that was the only option until later that day. having BAD luck lately. I also have 2 FT orders that should have been here by now using e-packet but, they're MIA to :( no new toys for me this labor day weekend hahaha.

update:

Hey Nikki, atleast something positive happened today... vaportekusa shipped my Pallas Rose v2. i'm stoked!!! i''ll have it early next week I bet :headbang: just need my ZNA to put it on lol ;)

Ok well that's not good  If you want me to ask Doris about it just pm your order # .. I did actually mention this to her two nights ago and she asked for your order # but of course I did not have it. :p

At least you are doing well with the Rose V2, that is some sweet news

I don't want to taste it more, that is the problem with it now, too strong, too nasty and clawing :( But thanks for the suggestion, I know its only cuz you love me

I have been using FT for well over a year, and same as you, 50/50 of products was good, the others needed work, my final straw with FT, was nearly everything I ordered always went to re-stocking, so took for every to get your stuff.

I started using focal a few months ago, and I am a lot happier with them, products do seem to get out faster from focal, I did have 1 package held up, but still got it in 15 days, and I've only had 1 quality issue so far.

Customer service is miles better than FT, Doris is the customer sevice rep and will help you with any problems quickly, can even talk to her via skype.

Nikki is not a rep, she is just a loyal customer who helps others out when ordering from FC, I suppose you could call her a fangirl :p

Thank Darth my darling, but I am not a FC fangirl, I am Dori's best friend, and if she leaves FC tomorrow, I leave with her ;-)

Hi guys and girls! I want to try focal out, I've been a loyal FT buyer, for me the best thing about fasttech is the forums, I love all the input and insight given there on every product once it hits the new arrivals.. so my question is how do you focal buyers know what is good and what to pass besides our own intuition? is there a secret place to discuss them besides this thread (this is a loooong thread but not as specific like FT forums)

I would really like to venture but I need more assurance in each purchase as I don't like blind buys

and by the way, do they offer tracking numbers?

thanks!

I have Only made One Purchase from Focalecig. A ZNA Clone and Tube I am Waiting for them to Ship. But at the Bottom of the Product page on the ZNA, there is a Section that says "Discuss". The ZNA Clone is Very New. So there isn't much being Discussed.

I've made Many Purchases from FT. And one thing that I notice is that FT definitely Reads and Listens to what people say in the Discussions sections. And Many Times, a FT Rep will Chime in to Answer or Clarify Something. Also, I have seen Many Suggestions and or Requests in the FT Forum or Discussion that FT follows up on.

I Imagine that Focalcig Reads the Discussions Carefully. Just not sure how much they Act on the Things said there. Because like I said, I have Only Made 1 Purchase with Focalecig.

It does suck your order has not shipped, but to say worse than fasttech is false and can say that from experience, I used fasttech (still do occasionally) a lot, but then everything in new releases went to ship in 7 days and hardly ever did, they always went to restocking, one order for 2 black kayfuns that had ship in 7 days, took 3 weeks before they shipped, so waited over a month for them. I have placed 8 orders with focal, and the longest wait was 16 days to get what I ordered.

Not bashing, just speaking from my own experience with both companies, and don't think it is fair to compare the 2 companies on 1 order.

Well .. I usually make my choices based off what I know regarding which manufacturers are cloning what mods, and how manufacturer specs match up to what FC is offering. Lately I have been pushing Doris (Sales Manager) to try an stay away from the unknown manufacturer stuff, specifically with regards to the US warehouse, for this very reason ... people don't like to buy what they cannot verify.

I can offer a better opinion if I know what item specifically you are looking for ...

I've been very pleased with all my focalecig purchases. Add in their group buy deals and its even better. The more recent games at FastTech with the listing starting out with in 7 days then going to restocking and more delays just completely soured me on new item purchases from them. OTOH all the new items I ordered from focalecig shipped promptly and the USA warehouse is even nicer even if it costs more.

I have defended FT many times in the past on this one point, and so I will do it again for FC ... Do not order any HIGH DEMAND item if you are not prepared to the endure the possibility of a restocking periods, most especially for something like the ZNA30 which has a much longer production period.

I have been waiting for a ZNA30 for almost two months now, which has nothing to do with FC, this was manufacturer direct. In July I was told that I had to wait at least 3-4 weeks for the second batch of ZNA's to complete production. Finally, finally I have a 18650 ZNA in transit .. so my point that this is just the nature of the beast, supply vs demand, and unfortunately demand is tipping the scale, as per usual. :)

Whoever doesn't want to wait, I suggest that you hold off on ordering a ZNA30 for about two months or so .. by then the fury of "want" will have died down.

They're pretty new and their website still seems a little glitchy to me, especially when it comes to reviews and forum discussions - the links don't seem to work the way they're supposed to - that's probably why there isn't much there, by way of reviews and discussions. It looks like they're revamping their site - I hope that fixing those dead links and glitches is somewhere at the top of their list, because I too find them very informative. With not having much to read over there, if I hadn't found the very helpful people on this thread, I probably wouldn't have given FC a second look. Blindly ordering vape gear from an online store in China that I had never heard of is a little scary, especially with my money being so tight. It's not like I'm buying shoes - I need vape stuff that works, or I'm screwed.

I did reach out to Doris about a product that I wanted them to carry and she was very responsive - she emailed me links and everything. In the end though, I told her not to worry about carrying it, because I would probably be the ONLY person that would want one.

haha until VapeLyfe actually comes out with their copper mod that everybody's waiting for. Right now, the clone just screams "haha fake!"

What I would like Focalecig to do (and FT for that matter) is to have More Detailed and Technical Descriptions of their Products.

Here is a Good Example. $73.59 ZNA 30 Style VV/VW mod - Silver

Cool. It is a ZNA Clone. And it looks like a Good Price.

But is it Made by Wotofo? Or Someone Else? What is the Chip-Set? A YiHi SXA300 maybe? Are the Tubes "Z2" Threaded? The Description says it is VV/VW, but isn't it VW selectable Only? I don't like having to read the Discussion or Forms to try and Figure out what I am Buying.

And there is No Guarantee that what one Person Received a Month ago will be the Same as what I might Receive Today.

I know that Many People who sell e-Cigarette Hardware are not Experts on Everything they Sell. But I think that they could List more Specs from the Manufacture/Supplier.

And if the Manufacture/Supplier changes, then the Specs should be Updated for the New Manufacture/Supplier.

Not positive, but pretty sure that when they switch suppliers, they just create a new SKU# - basically, if it's a different manufacturer, they just treat it as a completely different product. That's why you get multiple listings for the same item. And I have a feeling that not all suppliers are forthcoming with product specs - they're probably just posting the information they were given. They're probably racing really fast to get them up on the site too, because they know we really want them.

Contacting FC's CS doesn't fall on deaf ears. You could always just ask, especially about something so specific as the ZNA. My limited experience has been that if they don't have the info, they actually do take the steps to find out and get back to you.

I agree with everything you have said, and tell Doris this same EXACT thing quite frequently in fact .. the bottom line is that none of them are vapers, and this "brand name/manufacturer" name thing is actually foreign to them, but I am trying to help them get it.

As far as specs, FC, just like FT are at the mercy of the supplier with regards to product specifications, and both companies list specs exactly as they are given to them by the supplier, who way more often than not, is not the manufacturer. Which brings me to my other point, the manufacturer specs actually suck just as bad. Go take a stroll on Alibaba for any product that you know well, and you will quickly see what I mean.

The most infuriating practice of clone manufacturers is that 99.9% of the time they simply copy and paste the specs of the original that they are cloning, from a vendors website. Accurate and detailed information is not really their strong suit, and I agree that they need to step up their game. But its hard to convince them of this when so many will still buy the product regardless .. I am a person who needs to know everything, so I feel ya.
