Nelson I would never do my people like that! And for the record, I did know that they were getting it, but last I heard they were getting if from Wotofo, this Squape R is by iVOGO. Maybe that is why she didn't mention it because someone else in her product department scored it.

Just received the Hana modz from focalecig group buy...and its seems its a bit faulty! I'm getting 'too hot' after chain vaping it for like 2 times (3 hits each times with the last being a 'long' hit -> mouth to long). I really find it VERY ....ty to be honest, since i always chain vape. It was with a KF3.1 clone @1.6 ohm @15 watt....so that's half the power it could supply. Shouldn't be 'too hot' that fast in my eyes!

Now i've tested it with a 1.5 carto @9 watts, still after chainvaping about the same amount --> too hot! In other words: I CAN'T chain vape on this device! And its not that i'm trying to chainvape @ 0.8 @ 30 wattage...nope. 1.5 / 1.6 @ 9 watt/15 watt >.< i mean a VAMO could pull that off.

Also a scary thing happened: Tried the 30 watt settings on my KF3.1. When i tried to vape on it, something blew up in the kayfun! I heard a 'loud' popping sound when i vaped on it! Scared the .... out of me. Now im not sure if my KF just blew up, it does seem to vape normally after it, but i think the taste is different (somewhat chemical taste to the e juice). Not sure if the isolator is burned out now (haven't checked yet).

Anyways this should act as a warning i hope. The quality of the hana modz of Focalecig seem to be superior of that of FT, but it still has faults! And if you can't chainvape it @1.6 ohm @15 watt, then what the f is the use of this device? @_@

EDIT: well, besides the too hot thing and that it might have blown up my KF, this seems to be a good device. I mean, it has at least a cover for the internal wires, the buttons are smooth, the display is good, and you really feel the higher wattage. Compare 8 watts of my mvp, this seems like 'true' 8 watts (@1.5 with a carto). The difference is huge! Which makes it sucks more that i can't even chain vape on it.

Did you consider that it may be something wrong with your build in the 3.1?? Not saying that it is, just saying that is something to be considered and examined as well. I have had a hard short with the 3.1 before, because the center pin and block can move and shift .. check into that.

If its not that, then I would contact CS for a replacement, because other than a possible short somewhere in your atty, you should not get too hot warnings after taking a few tokes.

Nikki oh evil sister addict....I finally bought the Rose this morning! Doris has sent me 7 e-mails and has everything figured out, they are sending the sticker with the Rose...that will ship tons faster than was specified. I was also told "no need bother Nikki, she busy lady" that cracked me up. She's a nice lady and was very helpful.

Has anyone considered updating their Kato with magnets? I'm thinking about it. Sometimes the spring sounds crunchy and it bothers me

Check the alignment of the spring in the switch, its probably just caught on the sides inside the assembly. Whenever I take apart and put together a spring loaded switch, with the assembly compressed in my fingers, I use a screwdriver to center up the spring, to make sure it not too close to one side versus the other before I install the center pin. My switch is smooth and butter and a easy press.

If you have some tiny orings on hand, you can also mod the switch to shorten the thrown, just place the small orings around the neck of the brass contact before you screw it back in. Poof Walla, short throw. The key is using an oring that is not too thick (can cause autofiring), and not too small (will not affect throw) ... I did use a very tiny white one, and it has the perfect throw on it now.

Yep, just let it sleep. You can't turn it completely off unless you pull the battery.

I'm here lurking. Just yesterday I was thinking of you also and thought I should post an update since I've been quiet for a few days.

First the off topic stuff: A couple of weeks ago I gave my Tobeco KFL+ to a buddy at work who broke his tank, but he couldn't get the Kayfun to stop leaking. I referred him to the owner of the only vape shop I trust, and he fixed it for him. He was so thankful that he bought 2 Orchids, one of them for me. The owner of the shop built mine for me at 0.4 ohms. He is warped! He knows that at that level my cheap juices will taste bad and I will go through inordinate amounts of his expensive juices. He is a warped but smart businessman. Nice atty, but it's V1 and I'm not very good at top filling, but getting used to wearing a little juice every time I fill.

Now on topic. Got my Veritas from FC last week and have been playing around. Great flavor from this dripper but not a lot of vapor, it's fine for me but no good for a cloud chaser. Bit of a pain to build, but in single coil mode it's very stingy with the juice while still producing great flavor. Definitely a keeper.

Waiting on my last order from FC, a Vape Jam (Viggo) style dripper and another mod that I'm not going to admit to you cause you'll be mad at me. Between that and the top fill caps for the Orchid and some drip tips from FT I ran out of vape money moments before the Squape R showed up. Don't be mad at Doris, she probably has a warped sense of humor like I do.

So guys, stattqualm is sending all the distributes letters that if they dont stop selling them they will be sued. If you dont get the clones soon youll probably have to get them on alibaba. Gvapers is the last site that still has them up.

No i've checked it with my atomizer checker thingy and i've been vaping on it on a mech mod before. I mean i just cleaned it up now and the same coil is still going strong. Also the insulator is a bit burned up, but it isn't fully melted away (only on the center can you see that its a bit burned). I actually, stupid as i am, still vape on it with the DNA Mod lol. I just chain vape a bit less and leave it alone and it kinda works...

Also i did the same with a carto that i've been using on my MVP and a Taifun which i've been using on a mech mod, all three devices are working normally (no shorts) but i got the 'too hot' thing too. I have contacted Doris, hoping to get an answer soon. I would hate it though if i had to sent the item (paying it myself) and have them checking it. Will be waiting for months again AND it will cost me money. If that would be the case, i think i'll just learn to live with this fault =/ I mean i guess i over chain vape sometimes, taking 3 to 4 chainvapes in a row (each being 3 hits). I think i'm doing this since i'm 'only' using 6mg nicotine.

A plus side, this thing vapes like a beast! My Kayfun really shines BRIGHT on this thing (even with the burned isolator lol, i've ordered a new pack of it). I don't taste any weird chemicals btw after cleaning it. And really, the KF comes to life @ 12 watt with the same 1.6 ohm coil. Loving it! I never went below 1.2 with my Kayfun and also never had a vw mod besides MVP, so this is the first time for me that the KF is showing such quality! The flavor is AMAZING (deadly sin of Goodlife vapor). I wasn't a big fan of that flavor untill now!

Well, without having both in hand it would be impossible to say .. The other reason she may not have told me because I found out a month ago that iVOGO was cloning the Squape R, but I wasn't interested. iVOGO is so hit or miss, and they like to skimp on quality parts, so I was more interested in Wotofo's, but ..

Wotofo is far from impressing me these days, I know that they can do quality work, as iVOGO "can", but both companies have some really sketchy ways about them, so I don't completely trust either of them. That being said, I would expect my friend to still tell me, and give me the option to get one ASAP, if for no other reason than for review. Most especially since I am the one who let her know that the Squape R was being clone, like a month ago.

Reading your comment I got all warm and tingly inside because I really do miss you, and your warped sense of humor So much so that you are free to tell me about the mod that you got that I would usually be mad at you for, but have decided to grant you a "get out of Pow Pow free" purchase. I can't give you a card like Burnie (He's OG) but you're my honey boo too, so you can for sure get one free pass!
