Luckily Eleven got back to me last night and told my to ship it back to the USA warehouse so i'm in the process of that now. Doris emailed me this morning with a tutorial (really just two pictures) showing the problem with auto-fire. The wire underneath the brass colored plate on top is not fully wrapped and since it supplies constant power if it makes contact anywhere underneath it will auto-fire as soon as you attach something to it. I hope i explained that right. Anyways, Doris offered me a free gift in my next order if i can fix this myself but i'm not sure what to do. I guess i could try wrapping that wire better and see how it goes, not guarantee the new one they send me won't have the same problem.

Make them replace it with one that's already good!

I just read this on FB, its a poorly written statement from Stattqualm regarding "that atomizer"

English:
Statement on counterfeits of the SQuape R(eloaded)

This is to consider an official statement about the recently emerged topic of the 1:1 replica of our product SQuape R(eloaded) and is aimed at all the stores that offer or plan to offer the plagiarism/counterfeit of our product, as well as end buyers:
Our product is protected by law in Switzerland, in Europe, in the USA and soon in China and we will use all of our available legal means in order to stop the sale (online and offline) of all counterfeits. The distribution of the so-called 'clones' is problematic because the manufacturer of the counterfeit want obviously to suggest to their customers that their product is a protected original. This is illegal and is not tolerated by our side.
At the same time, the occurrence of plagiarism complicates our support. Since even the packaging, the logo and serial numbers are copied 1:1, this will no longer be easy for us to provide a support without proof of authenticity on the part of the customer. Of course, we can not provide support if we do not know the nature of the materials used for example. In case of a possible support, we therefore ask you to provide in future pictures of the base, of the deck as well as a copy of the invoice in sufficient quality to enable an adequate support.
Unlike our first product, the SQuape V1, at this time we will not go into the details on the nature of the various replicas/counterfeits. We will discuss neither warn you about any defects nor technical details. Only this: The manufacturer and distributor of plagiarism would not clearly targeted at the customer deception, and copy logo, name, design and 'made in Switzerland', we could dispense with legal action from our side. It does not bother us if manufacturers and stores generate sales through our system of the atomizer. However we can not tolerate that in China identical-looking copies are produced under our company name as 'made in Switzerland' and distributed worldwide, only to deceive customers to the effect that they would purchase a high quality product. In this context we already have and we will make all of our available legal remedies use and take action against commercial sales which include the 1:1 replica of our product SQuape R(eloaded).

SQuape on!
Team StattQualm

I want to know this too :)

Hmm .. that is a good question because the Warehouse guy is not on a holiday. Wow, never thought to ask this, so I really don't have an answer. I know that the US warehouse guy has access to FC's system, and can see orders made daily, but that is all I know. I don't know it FC has to do something special on the China side of things.

If the bird should pop on to skype later, then I will ask her ... Her nickname is Clean Bird

I checked my wire underneath and it is fully wrapped so it does not appear to have the same problem as the tutorial Doris sent me. Both are now boxed up and will dropped in mail during my lunch break. Fingers crossed the replacements are in good working order.

Doris informed me. They were restricted by PP and had to take the SqR out. Sad, very sad story. But I wonder, that the big vendor still has them and isn`t restricted by PP. Maybe a question of time or lobby.

The logo of the SqR makes it look good, but I would prefer clones without logo. I paid for a clone and I got a clone, but I don`t need to make people believe, that I got an original one. But that`s another story.

Yes Nikki, you couldn`t see me, but I have been here enjoying your posts and latest news. ( I haven`t been logged in and forgot my password ). In the future you will see me again. ;) :)

Edit: There were 3 trademarks registered in September: Stattqualm, Squape and SQ

Yes yes .. Doris sent me a cry face last night with the news. But before I went to sleep she told me that the PP restriction had been lifted, of course after the product was removed. When I looked into Stattqualms possible trademarks, I had only found the trademark application for Sttatqualm filed on Sept 10, I didn't see the others though .. ah well, just posted Stattqualm's official statement regarding the clones.

Both my Robbot ZNAs will be shipped back to the USA warehouse today so i'm hoping he is not on vacation and can sort this out. It will take two-three days to reach them from CA so even if he is i guess it won't be so bad to wait until next week.

I did not mention this in my previous posts because it was not part of the defect but one of the two Robbot ZNAs i received was machined better than the other. The ends of the body where it meets the tube were rounded like the original ss ZNA and the cut out for the fire button was more precise. The other had more of a straight cuts/half-assed round job near the bottom of the body more like the Wotofo. I guess i can't really complain about that stuff too much because they are clones I just really hope the replacements are in good working order.

OMG You're right Nikki, I did it too. I think I wasn't depressing them long enough! Thank you for trying again!!!
My Rose is dry after a tooth soak and I will be building it this morning.

Awesome and Awesome Tami! It was actually funny how it happened .. I was skyping Sylvia Robbot trying to describe the issue and she sent me instructions for how to lock the wattage setting  So as I was replying back that the instructions were not for my issue, I stopped typing and decided to try it again, and lo and behold it worked! I was like "errrr, k ...scratch that Sylvia, false alarm"

And ya, you have to hold those dern buttons down for quite a long time

I hope the same my dear :) .. I am not that surprised that there were some machining variances between pieces because they are finished by hand from what I understand (the radius at the bottom and the top of the control head) .. The worker guy was prolly like "I'm tired now, good enough"

The machining on mine is "near" perfect .. there is a spot at the top where the cap screws in that was "overly finished" because there is a slight dip in a particular spot. Other than that, I love how much closer the Robbot tubes fit to the body vs the Wotofo which has a considerably gap between the tube and the main body. So the Robbot looks sleeker .. but the overall machining on my Wotofo is quite good, but I also got a batch one and not the "revised" batch two Wotofo.

I hate it when they call knockoffs "counterfeits." :grr:
but yeah, sometimes the cloners do go a little too far with their 1:1. Made in xxx, #notaclone , serial numbers, ...we don't really need all that, right? Just leave that isht out. And does anybody ever buy clones thinking they can get warranty service from the OG? Dummies.

I can somewhat answer the USA warehouse question. Decided to get a Rose and robbot ZNA and tube. My $139 purchase at least was put in a box, because it says shipped although I'm not getting any info on the tracking number from the USPS at the moment. I'll check later to verify it left the warehouse.

You must've gotten yours built at the BEGINNING of the poor schmuck's shift, or maybe just a little after the coffee break.

I would like to see some logo, just a revised logo .. like the clone manufacturers initials or something.

They should call it "Square" and change the little triangles to squares. Then leave out the squiggly "S" and change the "Q" to a square with the "plus" sign in it. :thumb:

Okay folks, Rose built and being vaped! You need to know that this was a very long (couple of hours off and on) ordeal! How many times did I throw down my tools and yell fook me? I lost count! BUT, it's finally done and worth every painful minute. I am vaping it at .9 ohms @ 14.7watts and it is delicious! I refilled the Orchid this morning and have the same juice running in both of them for comparison. Rose is on the DNA30 and Orchid is on the ZNA30 running at the exact same! Fact is, if the tips were the same I probably couldn't tell the difference! That being said, they look completely different as I have a purple tank on the Orchid but they're both beautiful! Rose holds a ton more liquid but my Orchid 26650 is on the way, that problem solved! I seriously can't pick a favorite between the two but because of build difficulty and lack of ability to change the drip tip on the Rose, it will be my only one. I do however LOVE being able to control juice flow, beats the pants off re-wicking 100 times to get everything perfect!
