Wow, no wonder you told her to return it. I would have too. Extremely odd. The one I have is nothing like that. More like what you were expecting, apparently stainless steel inside and copper plated outside. At least deck and chimney. I didn't look at the tank sections now that I think on it. I'll do that once I empty my current tankful and report back if not stainless. Obviously there's a QC issue here. Could have just been the somewhat common practice of substituting something "close" at the factory to fulfill a bulk order that's short. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
That's another reason I like shopping from focalecig. I've seen it mentioned often enough that I believe it. That they check and verify their deliveries and make sure they've gotten what they ordered. So that the above can't happen. I've seen a few horror stories on the FT forums where not everyone got what they thought they were ordering. Haven't heard that from FC customers (yet)
