I got my BD clone from Ebay today as well and it's a trainwreck. Grub screw won't thread into the positive post and air flow cutouts are janky. Seller is sending me a new deck at no charge. Threads on the base are super rough as well but I can live with that if the new deck fixes the other issues. I was hoping to get it built tonight. Instead, I'm fat fingering my new CLT... it likes to cut coil leads which is making me

I think they will go in but I will likely have to force them...then again could be because I am beat....have I said that yet....LOL

The base and glass kit came from focal USA warehouse and then got the top fill cap from fasttech

Ok, I see the bases, glass kit on fc and the top fill cap on ft. But, I'm confused on where to get the chimney cap. Don't I need that, too?

Yes the bottom of the chimney also came from FT, it has the punisher on it The chimney top I already had from my parts of kayfuns I had in my dust collecting draw.

Mine came from another dude. I know the seller you're talking about though. Apparently the ones he sells aren't complete junk. There is no way my positive post grub screw was going in without trashing the screw or the post. As for the negative post screws on the bottom of the deck, they may need to have some loctite applied. The screws on the deck I have now work themselves loose just by looking at them.

On a positive note, I *finally* got the CLT built @ .3ohm and it hits hard on my Workhorse. Airflow isn't on par with my Mutation X but it's pretty good. Flavor is strong.

And... to keep this somewhat FC related, I'll be ordering a Rose V2 from the USA warehouse tonight. I'm on a major RTA/RDA kick lately.

Poking my head in to say hello and say that I got the big dripper clone in, ordered off ebay because I was impatient . Will let you all know how it works. So far just the build quality looks much better than the pontus that I was so disappointed in. I have only taken it out of the box and first off realized the grub screws seemed hard to get in the post holes. It comes with three short ones and two long ones. I assume I am supposed to use the short ones....Will work more with it tomorrow. I am pretty beat tonight. The negative post also spin however it looks like the screws on the bottom will tighten that up.

Vapemail today for me too, but was from the other place, black stingray x, straight put my russian on it that came from FC, I have to admit I had not jumped on the black stingray x, because didn't think it looked right in black, but now got it in hand, got to say it the best looking black mod I got...

I got a black Stingray from FT. I thought you'd gotten the same one until I noticed the cutouts because its a Stingray X. Looks very good.

As one who's order for the Squape Reloaded is still waiting to be put in a box in China stop rubbing in that you're getting yours so soon

I, on the other hand, received my Hanaa (love that!) Modz yesterday!

I'm pretty impressed with the build quality; I was expecting something "cheaper" feeling, but feels solid in my hand.

Currently running a Fogger V4 with a 1 ohm build @ 17 watts, gives a pretty decent vape. Only have three issues with it:

1. Don't really like the firing button. Too small for me - doesn't feel good on my thumb and starts to irritate me after a long vape session.

2. Vape drops precipitously when the battery meter drops to about 25%. Might still work at lower watts, haven't tried it with any of my clearos yet. May need to switch batteries to see if I get better performance; have an Efest 3100mah purple in it now, only about 2 months old.

3. I keep forgetting that it goes into sleep mode; when I go to take a vape after setting it down for a bit, find myself sucking air.

1 is more a personal preference thing, YMMV.

2 is a problem, could be related to my battery, but could also be a device issue (battery meter incorrect?)

3 is just annoying, but I'll probably get used to it after further use.

Overall, though, I'd have to say that this was a good purchase, especially at the group buy price! I bought this as a beater device, anyway (have a Sigelei 100 watt on order), so no real complaints - I'm satisfied!

If you don't have any kayfun or russian parts, then yes probably be better off buying a complete topper, as don't think you can just buy the chimney top alone, and going to work out more expensive buying all different parts.

Don't know about the black or copper inside, myself I don't worry about all these things, way I see it, I'm more healthy than when I smoked, and I never gave up for health reason, so just another plus to vaping that it is better than smoking

There is no copper inside of the quartz tanks .. they are stainless steel with red o rings, the black one is pvd coated.

Yeah, that little button does get annoying. Wonder if Madvapes has a reasonable replacement. They've got so many useful odds and ends on their site.

I saw that complaint many times in the clouper box thread. I'd guess its common across all the Chinese clone chips. They need a battery that has a certain voltage level to operate properly. At least they work as a pass thru while charging so its not a big problem.

I hit the fire button as I pick up the box. Perhaps that's why I don't seem to have an issue with vaping when the box is sleeping. At least so far I didn't notice anything.
