Those V4 style ones still remind me of the Fogger V4 in appearance.

I don't like how the chimney logo doesn't line up with the clear section. Gotta check to see if any of the other all clear tanks from the fogger or kayfun fit it for a replacement.

Yeah, ok .. give it a couple of weeks, they all say that, I said it too after I first got the Cloupor .. "Now, its not going to replace my mechs" Remember, I was the mech mod Princess, I think I have 26 or 27 of them and I haven't touched one in over a month .. not even my precious Stingray X.

You can totally blame me honey boo, everything that you do RIGHT is absolutely my fault. ;-)

Nailz said the same thing when he first got his Hana, and now look, he's revising his vape gear budget right now to make that next regulated mod happen!
OK, you were right, but I just can't afford to buy multiple good quality box mods quickly, so they are not going to replace my mechs anytime soon. That qualifier should keep you happy. :D

The smaller size (bigger is not always better) and durability of mechs wins out for carrying around, at least for now (see qualifier statement above). I'm sure soon you'll get the manufacturers to start making smaller cheaper units so that we can all fall in line. See, I don't expect much. :)

I just switched from Spinners and I'm loving my mech mods and RBAs. Thanks again everybody, for all your advice. I'm coughing now - not used to all this vapor. And I'm going through juice like crazy. The only thing that spazzes me out is not knowing how much charge my batteries have left. I'm all paranoid about running them too low, so I put them on the charger and they're still 2 bars. Then there's all the threading.  One thing I'm learning though is I don't like refilling and I don't like swapping batteries, so I'll probably be looking to go bigger now. I don't even care anymore if I look like this:

YAY CINDY!!! :toast: I need more people in my 26650 club!

I think they look like a kayfun myself. I love the foggers, but the orchid does out vape it due to the air flow, only reason the orchid hasn't replaced my foggers, is due to how much juice it holds, but I have a orchid v4 coming, so that may change, depending how quick it goes through the tank.

Orchid v4 is now in the USA warehouse, I could of got it quicker if waited, rather than ordering from China

Also silve hana in USA warehouse for $45, bet they will sell fast, was tempted myself, but wanting something a bit more for next box :D

Hope yours is better than the another person reporting getting theirs, they said the resistance readings was all wrong on it, so seems Nikki was right and is not going to be a solid device.

Well, I now have a GOD180 mod in hand. It works. That is as much credit as I will give it. The wattage setting is a MILE off. I am vaping a Mephisto RDA with wide open air , 24 gauge Kanthal A1 wrapped 11 times around a 1/8 pin. On my ohms tester this is almost exactly 1.0ohm. The device reads it at 0.56 to 0.75 depending on it's mood. I tried vaping it at 30 watts (which on my DNA 30 is a pretty cold vape) and it burnt the .... out of my juice and wick. I am now vaping it at 15 watts and it is not too bad. The moral of the story..............It will work and you can get a good vape out of it, but you can forget everything you know about ohms law and real wattage settings, because this device is not even close to accurate. I have another one coming from Slowtech and I will compare the 2 different ones to see if the next one is any better because I have to believe the one I have is a DUD considering how far off the settings are.

Those $45 Hana clones are a smoking deal, especially shipped from the USA warehouse. Very tempted to order another one but I'm ordering one of the big power boxes tomorrow and don't need four box mods... or do I?

Hmm, somebody is the current high bidder ;)
Their asking price of $20 for the non auction one isn't too bad, still adds a premium over the focalecig price for a stainless steel one. But since I've been considering getting one because of how someone here raves about their Sat22 and I do need a topper for my white Lancelot ;)

    Oh, yes, you do :D

I highly recommend the Sigelei 100 W. Its the do anything mod. You can get super long battery life for days or crank it up and run a dripper and still not change batts all day. I love mine. I also got it in a group buy for a very good price. I'm not sure what the normal price is.

They are going for $85-$90 on Ebay.

I'm sort of leaning towards the Cloupor T6 at this point. Having a 26650 box would, of course, mean that I'd have to buy some 26650 batteries which, by an extension of my twisted logic, would mean I'd need to buy a 26650 mech.

Rut roh, just let the magic smoke out of my robbot ZNA :(

When I went to make the video they wanted of it not working, it was working. It lasted 5 days. Just had the smoke leak out, truly dead now. I picked it up to use it today, it was just sitting there overnight. The display was ultra dim, not like when locked but much lower. Unscrewed the battery tube and cap and then the top cap and atomizer. As I was putting it all together as I was screwing on the top cap, poof, there went the magic smoke. Completely dead now. Guess I will have to make that video now.

I *think* I've got the bugs worked out of my SqR clone. For those folks not following the SqR clone thread in the rebuildables sub, below is my post. I'm using a M3x16mm flat head machine screw.

Just for my FC peeps, I'll gladly mail you a couple if you PM me your address. Either that or I need to buy 49 more SqR clones.

    Okay... here's the result.

As you can see, the head on the machine screw is much larger than then head on the 510 pin which I actually think is a good thing - more contact surface for the connection. It's only a hair longer so I'm not sure it's actually threading into the base much farther than the factory pin. I used an insulator from an old BVC head I had in my desk drawer. Granted, it's only been a few minutes but it works and firing about two dozen times resulted in a rock solid .8ohm. Seems to hit harder as well but that may be my imagination. Dunno... vapes like a wild beast now.

I couldn't use the SqR on my IPV2 (fixed 510) with the supplied pin. Works like a champ with the machine screw. There is some gap but I'm not a stickler for that kind of thing. I could probably reduce the gap if I torqued the machine screw into the atty a bit more but I don't want to push the insulator into the connector.

Only time will tell if I've excorsized the demons. I won't be convinced until it runs without issue for at least a week. But, at the risk of jinxing myself, I feel pretty good about it.

You will need new batts for the Sigelei anyway. Its very important they be married. Charged together, used together, and flipped each time you change them.

I've got 8 brand new 18650s (4 VTC4, 4 VTC3) in my stash and two more VTC4s on the way, lol. I'm a battery hoarder.

All the Kayfun stuff sort of fits. I have a transparent tank that came with my EHPro Kayfun that I tried on the V4 and in screws on fine. The problem is that the plastic is thick on that tank and with the wider chimney of the Orchid there isn't very much clearance. The bubbles coming out of the juice holes tend to get stuck around the bottom threads for a while before they get together and make it up around the chimney causing dry hits.

Next time I order from FT I'll get one of their plastic Kayfun tanks, maybe it will be thinner than the one I have. A thinner juice might also help.
