I *think* I've got the bugs worked out of my SqR clone. For those folks not following the SqR clone thread in the rebuildables sub, below is my post. I'm using a M3x16mm flat head machine screw.

Just for my FC peeps, I'll gladly mail you a couple if you PM me your address. Either that or I need to buy 49 more SqR clones.
Nice of you to share. Glad to hear they worked.

Just picked up the Taifun GT-S on FT. I haven't owned one since the very first clone and don't even own any 23mm mods anymore but i've been wanting to try another one especially now that they have the nano tanks. The AFC and wider pin in the deck got me, the extra tank sections and red orings are a plus too.

Rut roh, just let the magic smoke out of my robbot ZNA :(

When I went to make the video they wanted of it not working, it was working. It lasted 5 days. Just had the smoke leak out, truly dead now. I picked it up to use it today, it was just sitting there overnight. The display was ultra dim, not like when locked but much lower. Unscrewed the battery tube and cap and then the top cap and atomizer. As I was putting it all together as I was screwing on the top cap, poof, there went the magic smoke. Completely dead now. Guess I will have to make that video now.

Let the magic smoke out LoL. I haven't heard that in years, I worked as an auto tech most of my life and I used that saying.

OK, you were right, but I just can't afford to buy multiple good quality box mods quickly, so they are not going to replace my mechs anytime soon. That qualifier should keep you happy. :D

The smaller size (bigger is not always better) and durability of mechs wins out for carrying around, at least for now (see qualifier statement above). I'm sure soon you'll get the manufacturers to start making smaller cheaper units so that we can all fall in line. See, I don't expect much. :)

Oh I hear that hun .. Most of us cannot start buying box mods by the truck load. But I don't think anyone needs a lot of them, I think two solid regulated devices is good. And I think that having mechs is a good idea, if your those electronics should ever break you would want to have that mech as a back up. :)

In other news .. I was sold a fake MNKE 26650 :glare: I already have an authentic one so I know what it looks like, and I ordered a second one (different vendor) because my Cloupor T6 should be here by Friday/Saturday and with the magnetic back cover I would rather swap them out then use the wireless or usb charging. I would have repurchased from the MNKE from the first vendor that I bought it from but they were sold out.

Everyone knows electronics work because of the magic black smoke. You let that escape and the electronics stops working. Q. E. D. ;)

I think they look like a kayfun myself. I love the foggers, but the orchid does out vape it due to the air flow, only reason the orchid hasn't replaced my foggers, is due to how much juice it holds, but I have a orchid v4 coming, so that may change, depending how quick it goes through the tank.

Orchid v4 is now in the USA warehouse, I could of got it quicker if waited, rather than ordering from China

Also silve hana in USA warehouse for $45, bet they will sell fast, was tempted myself, but wanting something a bit more for next box :D

I know what you want  My Zero's should be here on Monday, I saw a pic that Infinite posted and I am fairly certain that its from the same source. Infinite claims that they made the chip in their Zero clone and I totally do not believe them. :glare:

Hope yours is better than the another person reporting getting theirs, they said the resistance readings was all wrong on it, so seems Nikki was right and is not going to be a solid device.

Everything that I said about both the God Mod and the manufacturer who made it was dead on accurate. I can't lie, as I read through the feedback comments from those who had previously criticized my position about this device, I was filled with a bit of satisfaction. But at the same time I am not happy to see anyone receive a large, expensive piece of crap. But as I said, why would anyone be so quick to believe that this manufacturer of janky plastic clearos and rejected coke can mods was going to all of a sudden pull out this masterpiece 180W device? You can look at SMY's catalog and tell "they don't get it"

SMY are "used car salesman" .. They are not innovators in the field of electronic cigarettes, and they didn't make the God Mod because they wished to be so. They saw the boom in sales for high watt devices in this market and they wanted in ... that is all. And they came up with the perfect plastic looking portable hot plate  Did you notice that of all of "Kamry's Celia" posts not once she attempt to explain or defend this device? But you cannot defend the indefensible now can you? :glare:

They are going for $85-$90 on Ebay.

I'm sort of leaning towards the Cloupor T6 at this point. Having a 26650 box would, of course, mean that I'd have to buy some 26650 batteries which, by an extension of my twisted logic, would mean I'd need to buy a 26650 mech.

My T6 should be here within a couple of days so if you want another week or so I will you the honest skinny on it .. but there someone on the other forum who received it and she said she loved it and that it looks much nicer in person than the photo show.

The ACE 50W is also very nice, and that youtube reviewer ... how do I put this? Has a lot to learn about Ohm Laws and regulated wattage. He applied a calculation for unregulated power to this device (volts and resistance), and that is why he said that this device could only do 50W at .7ohm, and said it fired a like mech.

The ACE is absolutely a regulated, across the board 50W (6v and 15amp max output). That reviewer was looking at the Cloupor T5 with a 9.3v max output, and did not understand how the ACE could have a 6v max and still achieve the same 50W from .3-3.00 ohm ... easy answer "current". Voltage multiplied by current = Wattage.

The only difference between these two 50W devices is that the Cloupor T5 uses more voltage and less current/amp draw (9.3v x 5.4A = 50W), and the ACE 50 uses less voltage and more current (6 v x 8.333A = 50W) . And this same reviewer just posted a video review for the God Mod and entitled it "expert opinion" .. I didn't watch it though, I can't

The only issue I have encountered with it so far is a very finicky usb charge port which is annoying ...

HI, just to let you guys know that today I was taking a vape on my Robbot ZNA and suddenly the firing button fell out, the pin that holds it in place fell out sometime last night and I didn´t notice. So if you guys see that the pin in your mod moves, put in a drop of crazy glue or something to hold it in place.

battery measures:
Tensai TN18500HP 1100 flat top: 49.55 x 18.2 (not too long, but still longer than aw 18490 button top, which is 49.2)
Tensai LC18350HP 700 flat top: 34.7 x 18.1 (like efests)

I've googled Tensai a few times and I couldn't find any :( .. Where did you find them?

Nikki? I been bad....don't get mad at me, K?

I e-mailed Doris about the ZNA tube and here is what I said.....

Hey Doris,

Let's try this since Skype isn't going to work for us.

I just heard on the forum that you are asking another person for a video of batteries not fitting, are you kidding me? I will not video trying to force my good batteries into a tube that doesn't fit and risk tearing the cover on them. That should be something you can easily verify when you get the tubes back. Measuring with calipers was suggested and again, I don't see how to show that when the tube narrows on the inside a ways up.

It shouldn't be the customers responsibility to prove a defect. I don't mind taking a picture when it's obvious but I shouldn't have to be a cinematographer to return a non working item.

I am getting frustrated all around. First, having to go so far as to take a video when the Robbot ZNA didn't work when you were already aware there were problems. Then when my Orchid 26650 finally got here it had a broken O-ring and no replacements so I fixed it without complaining. They used very small O-rings that should have been on a 22mm atomizer not a 28mm.

Then I got my 2 Sat22 in the mail and again they had NO replacement parts with O-rings that were sub par and already damaged from the manufacturer forcing on the top to dry ill fitting rings. Not to mention they were $2 more per piece than Fasttech who DID send replacement parts in the unit.

I just want the items I order from you to arrive in useable condition and if they do not, you should replace them with no hassles.

I know, sometimes perhaps I should beat around the bush and put nice fru fru stuff in but seriously, I don't know how! This is the answer I got, now correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like eat pooh and bark at the moon to me.

Hello Tami,

I have replied you by skype.
You will receive an email for replacement 18650 tube from service@focalecig.com
For any other problem, please reach service directly.
Thank you!
Focalecig

The Skype said I would be getting an e-mail from that address within an hour but it never happened. Then this morning when I checked on an order I've been waiting for it had an order for a 18650 tube for the ZNA.

I seriously wasn't trying to alienate her but I think I may have managed.

I'm just hoping you're not ...... at me too!

that's nice Nikki! i LIKE that ;) looking forward to hearing more :)

Yeah its looking good Nelson  ... but does it perform well? That is the bigger question, but also the quality of the construction. Now it looks damn good from this photo and if it performs as good as it looks this is going on my "Best high watt mod of 2014" list for sure. :D
