It be me Nikkita6. I'm sorry for the delay. I was busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. I can offer you a bit of insight about it but not near as good as you can :( I'm kinda nervous after watching the Variant review about being a "Professional Vaper" Do I need a certification to operate this thing? I'm not much into dripping. The only 3 things going on it will be the kayfun 4, Lemo and Orchid 4. BTW. I pulled the trigger and bought a SXmini. My budget is done for this month. I'm just glad they aren't releasing the kayfun 4's till December:D

For those waiting for the Variant Shipment from VaportekUSA, I called them on Monday and they said that they had shipped from China and they should have them by Saturday. They will probably ship next Monday if not sooner :D

Oh ok, glad you saw my comment . I received mine yesterday, and was wondering if you had already received it. I actually become uber pre-occupied with researching the authentic and my oh my there is a whole crap ton of defects on the authentic, most especially with the mass produced Titanium slim. I had join several groups to get this info which strangely enough none of these users are posting about on ecig forums ...

A few things about the Variant clone that surprised me, and I was not expecting. First, I had previously confirmed that the clone is 304 stainless and not Titanium, even as some vendors were running pre-orders saying that the clone was Titanium. The clone is most definitely 304 SS (and heavy as hell at 300 grams/345 with battery installed) but I was surprised and a little disappointed that the clone has the Titanium logo on the side. :(

I skyped Limwell to ask why they put Titanium on it when its NOT made with Titanium? Limwell said because the Titanium version came out while they were producing the V1 Slim clone, so at the last minute they decided to put the Titanium logo on the side, which does not appear in the pre-order photos.  I would have much preferred the V1 logo.

The lipo that comes with it is actually great on battery life, according to the display timer I used the 1200mah lipo at .48ohm/15W for 10 hours, 217 puffs, and only used 42% of the battery. The lipo is 35c/45A rated, but I have already purchased a Zippy 1300mah as a second battery, but I will need to get a micro deans connected to it so that I can actually use it with the Variant, as will everyone else who buys their own battery. The downside is that the lipo is a really tight fit and you will have to carefully work to get it all inside. The quality is very good, it does feel "high end", the screen display and function is identical to the authentic, and the gift box is really nice .... that is all I have for the moment :p

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you get it. :)

You got yours already? You had to order after me. I guess the saying is true it's not what you know, it's who you know. I'm glad you got one so you can do a review on it :) I'm so excited to get it now :D Thanks for giving me a pre-review :D

Very true .. but I was also in talks with the manufacturer before the Variant clone was even made public, so it was arranged a loooooong time ago. I was just really disappointed when they released pricing for it because I had hoped it would be more affordable for all. :( And thank you baby Jesus it does not have that horrid rattlesnake sound of the authentic

Here are some pics to give you something to look forward too :D

7.4v lipo 8-o

Lipo's aren't that dangerous. I have multiple RC cars and never had any problems with them :D In fact I feel more safer with Lipo's than a regular 18650 in a non-regulated box mod with inferior switch and no mosfet. The burst amps on a Lipo is also generally a lot higher, so that your chances of going nuclear are slimmer than with 18650 of batteries. The only problem I found with Lipo's is that you can't let them get to low before you charge or you can end up damaging the battery. With that being said, Would I try to max my Variant out at 260 watts? I would have to be on a death mission to even get close:p. The battery would be the least of my worries. I think my lungs would give out long before the battery did. . I will probably run a 1.1-1.4 ohm coil up to about 30 and blow not the biggest clouds but some nice size clouds :D I'm a flavor chaser first and foremost and a cloud chaser once in a blue moon :D

Please come back and tell me your thoughts about it especially since yours came through pre-order. Consistency is key so I hope your thoughts are similar to my own. :)

I feel better about using them after doing a good bit of research which I recommend to anyone who is not familiar with lipos, as I was. A lot of basic principals still apply, don't over charge, don't over discharge, handle with care, etc. But there is proper balance charging that I had to learn about, I also got a fire proof charging bag. I am still researching and stuyding about them too but that aspect appeals to me though.

The better life is the most pleasant surprise for me, I kept thinking how terrible a 1200mah lipo would be, but I was wrong. With the way that I vape the lipo is killing my 18650 2500mah batts in the battery life race.
