Yup, your totally right I didn't read the post before but I can tell you that is the problem. I run a 1.4ohm 30 ga build this like 14 wraps I think and it works great on provari and vamo but it's at around 4.2v constantly, if you running that on a mechanical it's gonna be an even bigger dud.

Yeah. Couple weeks ago I ran a 28 gauge set up at 1.2 ohms. Even at 4.2v (15 watts) the heat up time was just sad, and there just wasn't enough heat to produce much vapor.

Like you said that's a big mess of wire to heat up, even to fit in there... 30 ga!

Hey Bubbles! You must be working hard! I just put the nr-r-nr Ribbon build in and it's super cool! I was scared I was going to hurt it BC the ribbon is so flimsy, I almost felt like I couldn't pull as much wick as I wanted to thru, but I did and I like it, thanks again brother, much appreciated!

Yes, I'm hauling "A" from New Orleans, LA to California, running late.

After you install the coil assembly, try to adjust it by putting a little screw driver or drill bit inside the coil and then move it wherever you need it to go. Then, make sure that you have an equal spacing between each wound of the coil. You might need to use a sharp needle for that. I agree, it is very sensitive at first but you'll see how it performs. Granted that you've adjusted everything and it is glowing evenly from inside - out. Here is how your coil looked on my 4.3:

EDIT: Put the other pair of coils in one of your drippers and you will see how this coil that is equivalent to 28 Gauge wire performs much like 22 Gauge without all that unnecessary power drainage from your battery.

EDIT2: I'll tell you what. If you don't succeed on your first try with the ribbon wire. Don't get discouraged, it takes a little getting use to. If you want, you could mail your Fogger to me and I will drill the airholes to 2.0mm, setup the ribbon coils and rayon wicks for you to try. Heck, I'll even install the top fill screws for your 4.3 if you want. Makes it a whole lot easier to fill 4.3 from the top. You just close the AFC, put your thumb over the drip tip hole to insure that your chamber has some air in it and it is not going anywhere. Then place the tip of your juice bottle in one of the top holes and fill as fast as you want. The air from the tank will come out of the other hole until the tank is full. And no liquid will enter the chamber because it has air in it. Not a drop will be spilled.

Do you think that will also work for the Big Fogger ?? Melted my insulator a while ago, so it's been sitting on the shelf all lonely and stuff. :(

No, it will not.

Take the AGA series positive post insulator and put it over your center pin, flush with the deck floor. (I'm sure you've got some laying around) or you could get them here: AGA Series Positive Post Insulators - 10 pack - Kidney Puncher
Then make a flat insulator out of 0.5 - 0.6 mm POM Delrin if you want it to last or plastic if you want it to melt like an original did.
I use delrin guitar picks from eBay.

After much "pressure" from Tbev, I took the dive today and ordered my fv4 from eBay. Should be here Friday, hopefully sooner!!
After perhaps a bit of initial how am I really going to get dual coils in here and wired anxiety, you're going to enjoy it. It really is a nice atomizer. I'm still surprised how warm and wet of a vape I get from mine and its a very pedestrian 0.8 ohm dual horizontal coil, wicked with rayon build. I figured that the vape would be burning hot compared to the very nice vape I get from my Kayfuns. But did the whole I'd probably jump off the bridge since everyone else is thing and got one of these to try. Turns out I just get this really yummy warm flavorful vape instead. Whoda thunk ;)

a very smart man once said " I don't think I'll be interested in any more threaded plastic tanks"...... Pass

Just doesn't do it for me.

Kayfun/russian parts are compatible? Cheap nano kit? I got the Plume clone for less than $22 delivered. I quartz or nano quartz kit...and hopefully a cheap kayfun top fill cap will be available soon enough?]

If it's in the Fogger Price range with tank options...and that deck with dual airflow...along with beautiful post holes. It's a contender IMO.
