So it's been ten minutes and I'm going to say the Fv4 on a provari mini is the best, non bottom feeder setup you can get. I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Last night when I checked the coil before putting the top on, I had wick in it and juiced it. Held down the button, it produced vapor for a few seconds, and then lit on fire. I quickly blew it out. So uhm, you don't wanna dry burn, heh.

Anyone wanna trade a version 4.2 for this POS version 4.3? I don't like the fill hole and I really don't like the capacity! That WAS one of the big draws for me: fill it one time and vape all day. Now they've made it a big tank that won't last all day, so you have to carry a syringe with you because it's hard to fill. And shame on you if you have to adjust the wicks, there's no draining a thick juice out of these things without making a mess!
GOOD:
Vapes really well. I think I like the flavor with the larger chamber better than the first 2 versions.
Oh yeah, the larger deck didn't really seem beneficial to me, so I didn't put this in the good or bad category.
EDIT:
I added a couple of fill holes in the top so I can fill it with just about any bottle style, which worked out great...but it still doesn't hold enough fluid, and now my $35 tank is now about $135 tank!

I'm running the 4.3 on a provari @1.4ohm that's the best thing I could think up to mitigate the lack of capacity. I swear the thing hits just as good as the 4.2 on a mechanical @0.8ohm.

I purchased my V4 from Sleepy Hollow Vapes on eBay. I also had what *appeared* to be a stripped screw in the center post. I know one or two forum members expressed dismay that the product is a POS because of the stripped post. Actually, after speaking with this dealer (very good customer service, by the way), he explained that actually the wrong screw was placed in the post. Something about the 1.6mm threading diameter being wrong. He received a batch of the proper screws from the distributor and is sending them out to all his V4 purchasers. It will solve the problem.
So I hope this is a help to someone else. If you did not buy yours from Sleepy Hollow Vapes, and have this issue, get in touch with your seller and see what if anything they will do for you.

I have a 1.2-1.3 ohm microcoil build on 1/16 drill bit with organic cotton my Provari and I thoroughly enjoy it. Built it with 30 gauge dual coils (10 or 12 wraps each - can't remember). The coils glow quickly and evenly as opposed to my previous tries with 28 gauge that never really got a glow going which made for a less than pleasurable experience.
I built it for my dad so I used silica so I wouldn't have to babysit. I hate silica in a big cotton cheerleader but I gotta say I'm impressed.
Here it is (2mm silica, 30ga. 1.4ohm)
I cleaned it up and trimmed the wicks quite a bit after this pic but that's it.
It hits as well under 4v as my 0.8 0hm Cotton build.
Oh nice, how did you drill it out (special drill?) and how did you cut threads in it? I guess you need two different sized drills and possibly a thread cutting thingy. Please some details, it's an awesome idea! Oh and why 2 holes?
It's quite a bit smaller (than 1/16) diameter coils, just perfect for 2mm silica.

Are there any compatible posts that have a hole for the wire to run through? I'd like to try using those instead of the regular ones (where you have to wrap the wire around the screw). It's a little harder to do that sort of wrapping. I'm not even sure if one can buy those posts separately... But maybe they could be taken off a cheap RDA.

You've gotta find an atty that has that type, nothing with a tank that I can think of. You can try to buy screws that fit with a big head or use a washer, many people find that helps but that's about as good as it gets, I wrap with a tweezers sometimes.

Just got mine, it was missing the derlin under the center block, so the dealer is sending me a new base. Had to try it anyways, so I stuck an insulator under the block and wired her up, using 1 ohm dual 28 ag verticals for .5 ohms, wrapped in hemp fiber, dragging some fiber in each channel to prevent overwicking.

I drilled, tapped, and counterbored it on a milling machine, so it was pretty easy. Holding it without scratching the crap out of it while I was machining was a little difficult. And I added 2 holes to keep from pressurizing the tank when filling, which would cause a flood....flooded the crap out of it on my first fill! It turns out that if you so much as crack one of those screws loose and break the airlock in the tank, juice starts pouring out the AFC!...duh. Funny how gravity does that
Closing the AFC ring helps, but it's not exactly air tight so the chamber still floods a little. I'll keep playing with it, but if nothing else, at least I can empty the tank if I need to, LOL!

Two things.. I'm not able to find a seller with that name. and two which one should I look for? I see people talking about Verson 4.2 and 4.3 etc I thought it was just the fogger v4
