Ok up until this point I have only had rebuildable dripping attys. One thing that I was wondering when looking around at the rebuildable tank attys, is why do all of them share the same method of connection for the coil leads? wouldn't it be better to have holes in the posts that you would feed the leads through like on Dripping attys? Or is there something I am missing? Just seems like it would be a better/easier solution when it comes to installing the coils

Regarding post connection types; That's what all the drippers say! It's something you get used to, I assume it's due to coil placement, they don't want to limit coil placement, you gotta realize that in a tank you don't have the whole deck to build on, it's the same O. D. As a dripper but the space for your build is reduced to a fraction of the whole diameter of the atty.... I could be wrong but that makes the most sense to me.

OK, got mine in and soaking to clean right now. I can ony run this effectively single coil on my MVP as I only have 28g kanthal. I am looking to block the second air channel for the time being. I have read silicone (what type?) to taping the air flow channel (does this really work?). What, in your opinion, would be the best way to accomplish this -OR- is this even needed in a single coil setup?

I understood it just fine. But to answer your question yes that would be a good improvement although I prefer spring loaded posts. I have tanks that use the hole through post, spring loaded and plain ol screw top like the Fogger. I much prefer spring loaded.

How do spring loaded posts work? Wasn't able to google it. I certainly would like to have hole through posts I suck with top screw coil placement.

Which tanks have the hole through the posts? I couldn't find a single one

How 'bout some more, new build photos gang? I've got one of these coming finally and I'll probably need assistance.

I just hope it isn't as hard to get it wicking as this #(@!ing Squape clone. PLEASE allay my fears! I had a couple V2 Foggers that I DID manage to get working but it took a while.

I abandoned the KFL clones because of the hit-or-miss juice channels (and I never did get one dremmeled out well enough to "fix") and have replaced almost everything with Taifun GT clones. I love these things but I'm just getting tired of every mod having the same tank on top of it.

Still rocking the same boring build. Typical 1/16 dual coil with wimpy wicks.

The plan is to finish my current tank by tonight and try a 5/64 inner diameter dual coil with fatter cotton wicks, but with the ends snipped off at an angle.

I gotta say I'm not a fan of the juice channel; kinda wish it was deeper/wider esp after they widened the base.
