Previous post made me think I should have mentioned filling. I too have the newest 4.3 version. Filling requires snugging up a nipple top bottle to the fill hole. Don't squeeze too hard or you'll force your wick from the juice channels. I barely squeeze taking at least 30 seconds to fill. Just be extremely patient and use a bit of care. That might explain your leaking problem also. Pushing too hard, trying to fill too fast, and you'll push the wick out of the juice channels for sure.

Come to think about it: "pushing the wick out of the juice channels" is a good thing in my book because I don't want any of the wick in my juice channels at all :)

Amanda, you may want to use a little bit more cotton, your on the right track with the small coils, I've been recommending less cotton to people who are using bigger coils, with your coils use the avg amount that I takes to wick them, and run it half way, maybe a tiny bit less, down the channels..... Your really close. You'll be all set soon.

Because those coils were so small I suspect the wicks were too thin to cope. I've just redone it with 2.00mm mandrel, 28 gauge wire, 0.7 ohms (was aiming for 0.8!) and used noncompressed, gently rolled cotton. I tried the chimney method of wicking - fluffed them up, trimmed to the top of the chimney, and gently pushed down in the area of the channels. If this doesn't work, I'll rewick using the conventional method.

When I removed the previous wicks they were burned.

I love the idea of top fill screws, but that's beyond me LOL

*sigh* I'm still having some small, but annoying problems with my 4.3.

I've used 2mm silica with just a mm or two stuck down in the channels on horizontal coils and vertical coils with cotton packed around the base lightly and over the channels but not in the channels - both types of builds with no leaks. The only time it has leaked or flooded is when either silica or cotton wasn't sealing the juice channels in some manner. be sure to wet your build and push around the cotton before screwing the chamber on. I don't see anything that you have missed. But I am running 100% VG.

Could someone provide me with a link in the US where I can buy a none clone fogger v4? thank you guys.

The Fogger is NOT a clone of anything else. It is an official product of Chinese company called: Yi Loong.
And, as far as I know - it has not been cloned yet and I don't think it will.

So wait a minute! I thought the v4 is the newsest fogger on the market but now I see 4.3 and the like? Which one is the newsest and best performing?

There are several versions of the newest version 4. The latest is version 4.3 - which I have. Not necessarily the best.

So I've vaped another tank of DIY 50/50 juice with my new setup. I'm still getting small leaks out of the airholes, but I don't think the wicks are burning anymore.

It seems whenever I adjust the afc it leaks also - may be my imagination. But it's useless - I'm either going to take it off or just leave it wide open. I tend to chain vape, and the drip tip gets incredibly hot anyway!

I really want to get it leakproof...guess it's time to try a different wicking setup now. I always use cotton nowadays - but I do have some 2mm ekowool I think.

Vapology.com? None on the website. Who makes them anyways? So annoying with all these stupid clones nowadays. A new customer doesn't even know way is what.

Here ya go, the guy I was referring to was the sellers name on eBay, but he is out of them, this is a link to one other seller good price free shipping. The 4.whatever is just referring to the newest version of the same thing, they have made a few changes but not a huge deal, this link is the newest version, it's got a bigger deck and holds less juice but it vapes the same and there's no way to get the older versions besides www.vaporbeast. Com

I bought the 4.2 version there a couple days ago but it was around $45, I paid extra for the maybe 2ml extra capacity.

If you want the newest version here's a link to the eBay page
