The reason I asked about the color, is that I was going to mail you my working Black Top Cap with Top Fill Holes, but since yours is silver it is not going to work.

What a very generous thought, in any event :) I'll live with it like this, until I get tired of it. Quite frankly, it's a small price to pay for a fabulous vape!

I can't wait to try the rayon. It will be the 27th b4 I get back home, but I shall be grabbing some then.

I have the 4.2ish brass screw and threaded afc ring. I have no issues with the afc or filling (I like a bottom fill screw). I set mine up like a kayfun, wick it, stand wicks up put on lower chimney section, cut to top of chimney, lightly stuff wick ends to the juice channels. 5/64 bit 12 wraps with 28awg = 0.87 ohms. Just finished setting mine up again. Loving this thing.

Good deal!
Be safe out there in Wyoming, it is pretty windy out there as always. I'm on I-10 in Junction Texas.

Oh I'm in VA today locked in at the Petro on I-81 exit 29. Taking the day off to tinker with my vape gear. I just finished tweaking my Segelei 13A a bit more. I do run 80 a lot but not this week.

I just did this and it seems to be working better SO FAR.

I did notice as well that the small white o-ring on the chimney get's completely obliterated every time I disassemble everything. It seems with this attie I never have that feeling of when's enough is enough when it comes to tightening the whole thing together...

You can safely remove and discard it. Kayfun doesn't have it. I removed mine.

Guys and girls, I know this is a whole differed topic, but I don't have any idea where to start. I'm thinking to start mixing my DIY own E-Liquids. Do you have any suggestions how to start?

Yes! There's a ton of information in the DIY forum, but basically you want to order nicotine base (may as well get 100mg/ml), which you can freeze, PG and VG (Essential Depot for a gallon of each around $58 shipped), flavoring. The flavoring is up to you. There are a ton of recipes in the DIY forum! You'll also need some syringes, bottles - but not that much else. You can spend a fortune or less - beware, it's incredibly addictive!

I've read through most of this thread in two or three stints and let me say you guys are awesome
.

I bought a fogger off eBay because what I'd read so far made it sound like some next gen kayfun killing badassery. Turns out I ended up with the 4.3 which is a little bit of a bummer because the juice capacity was a major plus for me.
That said, 3.5 mls of borderline dripper action is still keeping me going strong.
When I got mine I built a modest .8ohm however many wraps of 28awg around 2mm I'd. Wicks stuffed in channels. Needless to say it was a cotton smoking machine.
Rewicked, nope
Built for same wattage with 1.5 mm coil, still dry
Rewicked some more and with the measliest amount of wick managed to l run a couple tanks through it with only the occasional chainvaping dry hit.

When I saw the kayfun style build though it all made sense. (Tucked cotton after chimney install.)
I think when they eliminated the horizontal channels is when they intended for it to be wicked this way. So far so good with it setup like this and its a dream vape.
The only thing keeping me from calling it a kayfun killer is that the flavor is just barely lacking in comparison, but I believe the airflow could take me into .5 ohm heaven.

Thanks again guys. Let's see what really happens with this 4.4 I might just be in the market for one.

My 4.3 is doing just fine after several days and different altitude and temperature/humidity. Not a single bad hit.
4.2 however, delivered a nasty, burnt dry hit with no fair warning. Have you tasted a burnet rayon? My command of the English language is not advanced enough to describe it. It was so bad that it could "gag a maggot". It was so bad, that my taste buds went on strike and refused to taste anything for the rest of the day.

Well, as a chain vapor-er (? LOL) I'm the queen of getting dry hits on cotton! It says a lot that I have yet to get a really dry hit with the rayon - merely a suggestion that it was about to happen, or at worst a mini dry hit! From what you describe it's definitely something to be avoided!

Redbeard put a kf tip on it

Thanks for the advice, but I could put a kf tip in my kayfun and get better flavor too but IMHO the fogger doesn't seem like its going to produce a flavor experience better than 95% of that of a kayfun. That said everything else about the fogger is cool enough that I wouldnt take my kayfun to a desert island before a fogger

That's the scary part: There was no warning. Not a hint. I would take a vape every 3 to 5 minutes. And the puff prior to the bad one was nice and juicy. And BAM, like a slap in the face. I must have been all that different altitude driving. I'm still vaping on it and it is wicking fine, I didn't re-wick it. Only I'm at lower altitude now. I'm in Houston, TX. It's poring rain at 85F and the sky is made out of lead.

Lots of people are getting better flavor than a kf, including myself, if you pay some pics of your build at may get you there.
