I wrapped my first coils with one of those included screwdrivers, possibly not the one from the Fv4 , but I cut the cotton at an angle to reduce the size in the chambers, going smaller diameter seems to be a simpler solution if your having trouble but what's gets the job done! Glad everyone is enjoying the atty, I think it's my favorite so far, my xc -116 is coming today I'll post some pics tonight if I get it, I've never touched the stuff b4 but in excited!

I got some of the stuff long time ago...I think it was the 1.5mm version. It didn't wick worth a damn....but I only tried it in my genesis attys so I have no clue if it will work in the Fogger. But the nice thing about the xc -116 is that it has a very clean taste and it doesn't scorch your throat with dry hits. I am curious to see how it works for you. What diameter xc -116 did you buy?

The things I would say I would like to see added to the next revision is the ability to access the coils/wicks without having the empty the juice, the option for single or dual coil, and 3 posts.

Yeah I'd love that too. But besides fixed chimney you'd also need fixed tank section to top cap, else you couldn't fill it from the top. So maybe a system like the Aerotank, where the glass tank is screwed in between metal rings that are connected and make up the chimney.

I think the ideal option would be a side filling juice hole, so you don't have to unscrew the atty neither from the base nor from your mod to refill.

Post holes would be awesome. Oh an quad coil of course :p

I don't know what the advantage of 3 posts would be?

The 30 gauge works much much better than the 28 gauge on my Provari (too thick of wire and too many turns to get up to 1.2 ohms). The 28 gauge just wouldn't be able to heat up enough to produce the vapor production.

For my VTR @ 15 watts I also reduced the wire size down to 30ga / .32mm kanthal. It's 1.2 ohm and I vape it at 12watts now. On my Seven-22 I vape it with 28.5ga / 0.30mm kanthal with 0.8 ohm at 18 watts.

Hey guys. They changed the Fogger v4 again. Check out the pictures: Fogger v4 - Eciggity

The changes I can see is that they moved the fill hole to be "under" the build deck lol. Looks kind of weird and could possibly make it harder to fill with juice bottles that have a shorter tip though, more difficult to press in the filling tip into the juice hole.
And the post insulated looks smaller. And I'm not happy to see the copper 510 center pin reaching into the atty chamber... copper oxide and all that... :S

I'm not sing a great camera but I try, I've learned a lot from pics, and this forum and I like to see others get that "AH-HAAH" moment. These are, for the record a demonstration of just how ugly your coils can be, and still work great on this atty..

I wrap my 2nd coil in the opposite direction on my rod so the one with the wrap rolling off the top of the coil can be attached to the positive allowing the coil(s) to be positioned closer to to air hole, otherwise the positive block interferes with bending into place on one of the coils.

Here is my black one which I have made the channels larger, note that the wicks aren't very far down into the channels.

First build with xc -116 from readywick is the slim 2mm, kinda a pita, upsetting BC I'm used to nice, tight microcoils but ..
I pretty much forced the chimney on over the wicks and forced them in place..
I trimmed them a little bit shorter and good to go.
    Works /wicks great!

YOU'LL get a better vape if you tighten those coils so each one touches

Looks like you have juice in your screw tops. The wick in the channels should prevent juice from getting into the other parts there (I thought)?

Juice on the coils will pop and splatter when they heat up. You will also get some condensation in the chimney as the vapor cools down on the way to the drip tip. That looks fairly normal to me, you can just see it better in the close-up.

Here's my first try at a coil. Came out to 3.7ohms for this single coil over both holes. I was shooting for 2.0-3.0 ohm for my ~3.7v battery. I used 30ga Kanthal A1. Not sure how many coils, if you can count them, let me know, my eyes are crossing trying to look at the tiny coils. Looks like 6 at the top of the pic and 7 below. I wrapped around basketball inflation needles. Guess I'll trash most of the organic cotton ball that I've already touched and didn't use, still have 79 more of them, heh. It heats up a little slow but I'll go with it until I feel like making another coil. Some vapor oozes out a second or two after I let off the switch. I gotta get use to adjusting the air. I've never been able to do that before. And try to stiffen up the air ring.

Yikes. 3.7 ohms for a 3.7 V battery...?! At 3.7 watts exactly, I'm surprised the coil heats up enough to produce any vapor at all
