Got mine today. I'm not sure which revision it is, but I like it! A lot.
You have the latest version, with the bigger deck and lower capacity. Mine's a fog monster at 0.7 ohm. Taste close to the kayfun. vape warmer with more throat hit. Not sure I prefer that though, I'm happier with the kayfun.

Actually I just checked the resistance again and it's .5Ohm. POINT FIVE. I guess my lil' atty checker needs new batteries or something.
Time to pop an 35amp 18650 battery in the Nzonic, I guess.

I was kinda wondering where the vape went so quickly. It was still performing just fine, but the lil' purple Efest 18350 can only handle so much for so long. It wasn't anywhere near venting or anything, not even warm, but it just goes to show (me, specifically, heh) that it never hurts to check resistances using more than one tool.

Have any of you guys tried vaping GVC (grant's vanilla custard) out of the v4 yet? I just did.....dry hit city.... :( ..maybe I wicked it with too much cotton? I don't think so though....I have both an Aqua and 2 Kayfuns and never had a problem with dry hits with either of those 2 atomizers......I am new to the v4 (and to vaping GVC).....any hints/pointers? Thanks in advance!! :)

I have!!! I've always loved grants at high subohm (approx 0.9 ohms) and around 18 watts. Delicious. If anything, I would say that wicking the fogger has a little learning curve

Is the much taller than the Russian(Looks it)? Not looking to blow clouds, I have drippers for that but more so better wicking and flavor than my Kayfun EHPRO i have.....

Thanks for any help guys and gals

Got mine today. I'm not sure which revision it is, but I like it! A lot. No real problems during/post-build either. No leaking. No dry hits even. It's at about .8Ohm. 28 gauge kanthal. Looks perfect on a black Nzonic clone. :)

I hate to be the one to bring it up. And I'm not going to argue with anyone. This is only my personal opinion based on my personal experience with this device. Take it or leave it for all its worth.
In my opinion, this built is far from perfect.
1. The micro coils (I'm sure it was the intention of the maker) are not properly aligned and very crooked.
2. Each coil has to be positioned exactly above its correspondent air hole. In this case they are not aligned.
3. Too much cotton is jammed into the juice channels witch will lead to wick chocking, under saturation - dry hits (I'm sure the maker has already learned that by now). The juice channels on this version 4.3 are tiny. It is best if you do not put any cotton in them at all. Just lay your wick ends on top of the deck over those channels.
Again: This is my personal opinion based on my personal experience and only intended to save some people some frustration of building and re-building it over and over again until you get it right. I know I did.

Here are some examples of my unsuccessful builds:
This one has the same: "Too much cotton in the channels" problem that the one above.

This one has very little cotton and smaller diameter coils and it doesn't chock. But it doesn't produce enough vapor as I expected.

From FT...

Black Russian 91%:
Dimensions metric
Depth 22 mm
Height 88.5 mm
Width 22 mm
Diameter 22 mm
Liquid Volume 4.5 ml
Product Weight 90 g

Fogger v4
Dimensions metric
Depth 21.9 mm
Height 75.8 mm
Width 21.9 mm
Diameter 21.9 mm
Liquid Volume 6 ml
Product Weight 85 g

I have one of the first revisions ("4.1") which is the one with the small deck, large capacity and the first to use the old style (v3?) threaded AFC ring. Right now it's probably my favorite RB atty. Easy to build, not quirky once you find the right combo —should take half a dozen trials tho so start with little liquid. I'm using very loose cotton just touching the bottom of the vertical channels and coiling with huge 2.5mm wraps. Tasting perfectly. Ah, and do heed the placement dead on top the air holes!

Hey all, got my Fogger V4 in today, and I'g getting ready to go build it. Before I do though, I would like to know what coils seem to be working best with this bad boy? I have 24,26,28 and 30 gauge kanthal to work with. recommendations greatly appreciated, so I can skip the trial and error phase :)

Use this link: Fogger V4.3 Build - Imgur I promise you'll like it and it is easy.

Thanks foreverdiving... Saw that and thought it was a FT error..... So the Fogger is shorter, lighter and holds more.... Scale is tipping towards the Fogger for me

What Ω? I'm building with 28ga over 2.4mm aiming for 2.0Ω each (1.0Ω resultant). Whatever you do Do Not Choke the Chanels or the Coils.. Ah, and do place them dead center over the air holes.

This is a joke right?

Actually that is exactly what I thought when I sow it first.
Then I tried to build it this way and was very impressed with the results. You've got to try it. It hits like a dripper but it works like a tank.

Just think about how you build a Kayfun with cotton. You don't stuff juice channels with cotton and it works like a champ. But because this Fogger V4.3 deck looks like Aqua we all think it needs to be built like Aqua. The Aqua, however has much larger juice channels to be stuffed with wicking material.

Ohm does not matter to me. I just want great flavor, and good vapor production

Hey, I appreciate any and all constructive criticism. This is a device that needs to be tweaked to get optimum performance, not a work of art. Not for me anyway, heh.

So I appreciate the tips! I have indeed got a few dry hits when chain-vaping, so now I know what to do; back off on the cotton. And wrap some better coils. :)

Take it of leave it.

1.0 works for me. All my mods can handle that, easy to get with 28 to 32 depending on how fast or slow you want them to fire. I've found microcoils give me frequent dry hits so I prefer LARGE 2.4~3.0mm wraps. I'm using cotton but twisted 3mm silica can function too. Actually 6ml last me two days so I don't have to change them that often.

What your asking is so subjective it would be impossible to answer. Rule of thumb for dual coils is whatever you like for a single coil make the same coil but two of them. When used with a mechanical...you basically double the watts but you also double the coil mass so the vape will be similar to the single coil that you already like.... but better in every way.
