OK. I get it. You don't like my modification.
The official Taifun GT description sais 5.0 ML
I put 7.5 ML and it worked all day today and keeps on working.
I also fill up the Fogger V4.3, that people say, holds only 3 ML, with 4 + ML. Does this count?

Only showing the other side of the coin

I've got the other side of the coin. I have two TGT's, one I modified and the other not. I want to give it some time to see if I run into some kind of problem in the future. If not - I'm modifying the other one too.

I'm also going to modify my Big Fogger, when it arrives. And my Kayfuns 3.1 as well as AGA-T7 that already has a Top Fill Hole, but only one. I'm adding the other one to it.

P. S: What I like about this modification is not only it is easy and convenient to fill, and it takes more juice. But it is also safer. You see, when you close the Air Intake and the Drip Tip holes, the chamber retains air in it that prevents an e-liquid from entering the chamber no matter what pressure you apply when filling.
That's a huge benefit in Fogger's case and Taifun GT I did it for the extra 2.5 ML

Oh, I see.
But it is almost the same as using thicker wire. Like using 22 Gauge instead of 28.
I, personally would hesitate to use anything thicker then 28 Gauge in dual configuration on a Tank. Dripper - Oh yea. Besides, my Fogger V4.3 with dual 28 Gauge 2.5 mm Coils at 0.5 Ohms is producing very satisfying large amount of vapor and flavor that I don't want to go higher. I mean lower resistance that is. For all seriousness, this Fogger V4.3 is on par with my Genesis type tanks and almost as good as my Drippers. Why change it? I feel sorry for my four Kayfuns, two Taifuns GT, Aqua, Ithaka and Flash E-Vapor, they get neglected now. I'm awaiting on AGA-T7 and Big Fogger 10 ML now.

P.S: I will use Flat Ribbon Kanthal on my Foggers, I've used it on the rest of my tanks and it improves their performance a lot. I even built a special Kayfun for my brother to be used on his 11 Watt EVIC using the flat ribbon 0.5 mm and it's performing quite well for a low power crappy mod like EVIC

P.P.S: Nice looking tight micro coil though. I like when people take pride in what they do. Keep up the good work!

I may have spoken too soon about the Squape "working right." It's got a slow, constant leak out of the 510. I didn't realize it was even there because the vape itself was pretty great; no dry hits, no gurgling. And I'm a chain vaper. Then, when I went to take the 26650 battery out to show someone, I saw a sheen of e-liquid all over the top cap. Didn't get down past the cap though, battery and tube were both bone dry.

But something is seriously going on with this Squape. It is a clone of uncertain providence, being that this one came from angelcigs.com. Could be that I just have the coil sitting too low in the channel. I'll work on it some tomorrow and try to remember to take photos of my various attempts a fixing the issue.

I should add, btw, that your advice on the current V4 Fogger has REALLY helped me out. I went back and tweaked the coils so they are more uniform and nudged them back into place directly over the air holes. Short, fairly dense wick, with just a bit laying on the deck and sneaking up towards the channels, but NOT shoved INTO said channels.

The result is hit after saturated hit. :)

I didn't have a good experience with Squape. The draw was too tight and it had an internal electrical problem. I returned it. Granted it was a Squape Clone. Which one do you have? How do you like it? Is it worth trying again?

Thanks,

Mike.

I am very happy I could be of any help.

You are not going to believe this people, but as I was machining my Taifun GT modification, I had my 26650 Stingray with Fogger V4.3 standing on my work bench. My wife went by like a hurricane and knocked it down. It fell down on a solid concrete floor from 4 feet high and NOTHING had happened to it. Nothing at all! Not even a scratch! I think I should go buy me a Lottery ticked because my luck has obviously changed for better :)

So Cal
Would this be the stuff?

TIDI Rayon Balls | eBay

BTW, where in So Cal are you?

Probably, as long as it's 100% rayon. But those are really expensive, compared to the Sally's stuff! I'm in the SF Valley - where are you?

Forgot to add, apparently it's the same stuff that is in the top of medicine bottles!
