Now, could you take some picture in focus?
That would be why the bottom of my post said :

I didn't realize how blurry these are,i will replace with better ones in a little while.

Not really alot to see there anyway,it gets built the same as a fogger with the tail in the channels, only difference is this has the holes for the wire instead of needingto wrap the legs around the screw holes.

If I get another it will be coated, I'm getting a funky taste from mine. When I got it I stripped it completely down and cleaned it in my ultra sonic cleaner, when I put it back together I took a hit to see what the draw was like and got the taste so I put it back in the UC again for another round, same thing. Then I soaked and cleaned it by hand in hot soapy water but I can't get rid of the taste. I can taste it just from sucking on the drip tip, I swapped that out but I still get it so it's got to be in the metal. Anyone else notice that?

One thing I did that really helped when setting up the coils, I drilled holes in both the posts, no more fighting with the screws grabbing the wire while tighten them down.

Did you take the positive post completely off, clean up inside the hole that runs from the positive connector on the 510 all the way up the top side of the deck? I had a Fogger that had a terrible machine oil taste / smell that I never did figure out where it was coming from but it did finally go away.

Most likely it's inside the air holes. Did you try using some thin paper towel rolls inside? Or do you mean a copper? Normally UC and soap or isopropylene glycol is good.

He meant, unscrew and remove the whole entire center pin, not just a copper screw. Also clean and air blow in both air channels, flash some bright light in one end and look into the other. I've seen all kinds of junk in those. From metal shavings to an unfinished drilling dead end holes.

You are correct AMDTrucking, Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I did, took every part off and put the all in the ultra sonic cleaner, the small screws, bushings and such I put inside a wire mesh tea ball. When I first turned on the UC a cloud came out of the main body for a bit and I could see the oil floating on the surface of the water until I added a couple drops of Dawn, I also added a little Lemi Shine, great stuff. This is how I clean all my vaping gear, that can go in water... When I did the 3rd cleaning by hand I used good old pipe cleaners to scrub out all the holes and that's when I found a long spiral metal chip in one of the air holes, I was surprised it was left behind by a drill bit and that it didn't come out while in the UC. Yeah I cleaned it more then enough to get rid of anything that could be on or in it. Don't know what else to blame other then it's coming from the metal it's made from. Who knows what kind of scrap went into the furnace in China, maybe I should see if it glows in the dark LoL.

Dang, definitely sounds like you've been thorough in cleaning it. If you figure it out please let us know. Like I said I never did find where my bad flavor / odor was coming from but it did finally go away. I began thinking the same as you that it was impregnated in the metal or seals somehow.

It is a conspiracy. Yi Loong in China teamed up with Central Machinery, Chinese company that manufactures Drill Presses, Lathe and Milling machines. One company makes some BAD Foggers so that we buy tools from the other company to fix them. Of course it is a joke.

LoL I hear you. Maybe I just got a bad one, it's my luck. I have real bad juju, I [Moderated] you not I could write a book but no one would believe the stories. Let's just say you wouldn't want to stand near me in a thunder storm. :(

I thought it might be the o-rings but I tried taking a draw on just the drip tip and could also taste it there, swapped that out and still got it from the Fogger.... sigh....

Maybe it will go away or get covered up as I use it more, with Tbev's help I got a decent set of coils and I kind of like it, my uncle junk's jon wayne tastes "different" but not so bad that I won't keep trying to give this Fogger a fair shake. I want to like it, I really do.

(see my avatar and sig line... story of my life) ;-)

I think you did good too. As I mentioned before: " I've seen all kinds of junk in those. From metal shavings to an unfinished drilling dead end holes. "
And, sure enough - you found a metal shaving. Good job.
Now, I'm sure you did not neglect to pull that little silicone grummet from the dead end hole under the Positive Block and cleaned everything inside there, did you?
Saying that because my friend couldn't figure out where the bad taste was coming from and I found machine oil in that hole of his Fogger.
