Speaking of MFS Sexysod- myfreedomsmokes has 20% off nic base- coupon code 20NIC or NIC20. Both were listed in the email, so try the other if one doesn't work.

One more thing... lots of people are fond of the "buy it where you want it and just add flavoring" method. That's fine for some, but if you think you will have any inkling to experiment with PG/VG ratios, wean your nic, or even make some juice for a friend that may want a different level, it's best to have the full supplies. It really is as easy as following a recipe. My Monday night bartender is (jokingly) refusing to serve me until I bring him a bottle of juice. I have been vaping 8 mg and trying a reduction to 6 mg. He vapes 24 mg. If I didn't have full supplies, I would not be able to make anything useful for him.

I get my nic from My Freedom Smokes at 48 mg, VG base, but the base is really whatever you prefer. It's cheaper to get higher nic, but I am too nervous to deal with 100 mg nic ever even though I've been DIY'ing about a year. The highest nic I've gotten was 60 mg but prefer 48 mg. Keep in mind if you get a nic base at the exact strength you vape at, once you add the flavorings it will decrease your nic. I use the ejuicemeup calculator also. There are alot of great videos and tutorials on Youtube about using the calculator and DIY'ing, so I highly recommend you watch them. My all day vape consists of 20% flavoring, so that is why I mentioned you need to consider coming out with a lower nic level once you add flavoring if you do get a nic base at the exact nic level you prefer to vape on. I have also noticed alot of fruits and flavors tend to be sort of tart or sour to me, so I also recommend getting sweetener and planning on using it. I mostly use Cotton Candy, which is really a sweetener. Whip cream and sweet cream are additional nice additives to round out flavors if you prefer to make sweets. It's alot of fun so enjoy it. Definitely make 3 ml batches at first and let them steep if you don't like them. My all day vape doesn't taste good until after about 4 days to a week, so steeping does make a huge difference. Also, plan on making some really nasty stuff and pouring it down the drain, because we all have and continue to do so, thus the small 3 ml batches until you get your juice figured out! :) Best of Luck!

Hi Chimney! Fellow NCer here!

Everyone has their favorite Nic Supplier. :)
Mine is RTS Vapes. It's located in Huntersville, NC so about an hour away from you. They have everything I needed. Syringes, PG, VG, flavors, bottles, nic, etc. If you include FIRSTORDER in the coupon code, you can get 20% off your first order.

I bought sweetner, along with many other flavors, on my first order and on my second order bought cotton candy, bavarian cream, smooth and brown sugar. I'm hoping those four things will add the umph to my mixes. :)

Good Luck!

Wow! Thanks for all of the great info guys! I spent a couple hours last night playing around with the juice calculator & watching some videos! I definetly think I was making it more complicated in my mind than it actually is. Sorry...I tend to do that! I've got my grocery list started & think that I'm going to start off with a 36mg nic base. That way I can continue to cut it down if I need too. My only question now is why does the ejuice calculator give a % for pg/vg without nic & a % for VG or alcohol?

You will find that even when you put in the calculator, for example, base starting at 36 mg nic with PG base, then outcome you want is say 18 mg nic, 70/30 PG/VG, you will have to add a percentage of PG and/or VG in addition to the base to get it to where you want it. It asks for exactly what you are starting with, and then lower it asks you what you want as a final outcome. As far as the alcohol section, most flavors are 100% PG based like Flavor Art or Flavor West, but I use organic based alcohol flavorings so therefore in that section I would state "alcohol" for my flavoring, if you get VG based flavors then you would put 100% VG in that section. You will need to see what base your flavorings are that you order. It helps determine the final outcome to get you to the desired 70/30 PG/VG you put in the calculator to begin with. I hope that's not confusing you. It's easier once you download the calculator and try putting in various information and seeing how it works.

Hope Im not beginning to annoy you guys. If you don't mind please tell me what else I would need to order aside from syringes, bottles, flavors & sweetener if I start here
36mg nic base VG - 120 ml or more
120 ml or more of PG no nic

Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything essential.

I would absolutely love to do that Tidegirl but to be completely honest, I don't understand all those calculators...I know, sad but true. I'm an old dog and that's a new trick to me lol. Thanks for the info on the nic base for MFS!!! Gonna get some.

You may also need additional VG without nic to maintain the proper PG/VG ratio of the final mix. I suggest you also get some of that.

Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything essential.

You may want to consider a 10 ml flask, or whatever it's called. The tall container with the mils listed on the side that you can pour from into your bottles. I used mine alot at first because VG is so thick that it's easier to pour into a cylinder to measure than trying to use a syringe. Eventually I got a real wide needle for the VG but I still use the flask for some batches and just pour it all into my bottle when I'm done.

And don't apologize for asking questions! :) I got my friend to DIY after she started vaping for only a week. She kept coming over to get more juice and I finally told her that if she wanted juice, she was going to have to make it herself. She sat at my dining room table with her hands all shaking and a nervous wreck the first time. After that she was all set and never was nervous again. For some reason we all get so nervous about it but it's really nothing to it. Just be careful with the nic and don't let it splatter in your eye or get on you. If you do, wash it off. Especially if using a lower mg nic base like 36 mg, you don't have to be so fearful. :)

Thanks MiamiMom! I think I'm starting to confuse myself I think! Ugggh! So I need a nic base of either pg or vg as well as both pg & vg. If I want to achieve around a 70/30 mix should the base be pg or vg? I hate to ask other people to do my homework for me but what would your basic DIY grocery list consist of?

Actually, your base could be either PG or VG, but until you know for sure what you prefer the most, maybe do 50/50 PG/VG base. I personally went to using 100% VG later on, but if you don't plan on using 100% VG, then a 50/50 would be just fine. And yes, you will probably need both PG and VG without nic because the recipes usually calls for more to be added. I actually get my VG at the grocery store. It's cheaper. I have heard they sell it at CVS and Walmart also. Just make sure it says it is USP grade on the front.

If you do it my way,you don't have to calculate anything, just buy pg-vg-nic all in one bottle and then a few drops of your favorite flavor :)

Hey Larry! Thanks! I didn't see that option to buy it all mixed on wizard labs website. I could only find a nic base of 100% pg or vg. I did find some premixed on another site. I think I've got it all down now though. I tend to put myself on information overload when I start researching something.
