No offense, but you need to not worry about something "looking weird." I wanted cigalikes too in the beginning, but once I tried an Ego battery and an Evod tank there was no looking back and I don't CARE what looks "weird." My addiction, my choice. I know it's hard, but you may be making it harder on yourself by sticking to something that looks "normal." News flash, cigarettes don't "glow" green or blue at the end. Think about it!

I don't really know about the voltage, since it's an automatic battery, but I usually use my short battery. It died, so I was using the long battery while it was (is) charging. I almost never use the long battery, because even though it's supposed to last longer than the short one, it's also bigger, so it's heavier. Is it possible for the bigger battery to give out a higher voltage than the smaller one? I'll try it with the smaller one again later, when it's charged, see if that fixes things.

oh, and vampyre, mine glows red and looks just about exactly like a normal cig. And it's not like I care about it super-much or anything, but I just don't feel right sucking on a pen or a flute-like thingy. That's just me, I guess.

Short battery just finished charging, so I tried it with the Mocha flavor. It seems to taste fine. (only tried it two puffs so far, so can't tell if it's going to stay good on the long run). Still not sure if the problem was the battery, the flavor, the nicotine-level, the way I vape or something psychological or whatever else it could've been, I'm just glad I can finally get a vape in after six nicotine-free hours. Honestly, at this point I would've kept vaping even if the taste had made me actually throw up or something.
Here's to hoping it stays this good. Little too scared to try the chocolate flavor right now (I don't even like mocha), but maybe later I can see if the cartomizers themselves are still good. Would be nice to figure out exactly what the problem was so I can avoid it happening again.

Oh, and the coughing and dizzyness is less now, but I'm pretty sure that's because I haven't vaped for six hours and I've been drinking several liters of water to get rid of the nasty taste in my mouth. My throat had a lot of time to calm down.

Give up the cigalikes. Yes, I do understand the desire to have something that resembles a cigarette in size, but these are the bottom of the barrel in the vaping world. Poor performance, poor battery life, nasty pre-filled cartridges, etc. I can see why you were disappointed with them.

An eGo Twist, Vision Spinner, or iTaste VV 3.0 is an awesome upgrade from cigalikes. Yes, they are larger, but they can actually last all or most of the day without recharging, you can adjust the power to tailor it to each juice (some juice tastes better at low power, some at higher power), and they all just walk circles around any cigalike. And you can buy a starter kit online for less than a Blu starter kit at a mall kiosk or similar.

You should even consider a box mod like an iTaste MVP 2.0. This is probably the best value in the vaping world. Yes, it is much larger than a cigarette, but it is still quite a bit smaller than a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. These have 10+ times the battery life of a cigalike, and like the smaller devices I mentioned in the last paragraph, are much more powerful and flexible.

You will very quickly get over the "it's bigger than and doesn't look like a cigarette" when you actually try a high-quality device with good juice.

For a topper, a good place to start is a Kanger Evod. Even the most experienced vapers with loads of equipement have a eGo Twist / Vision Spinner with an Evod clearomizer that they love. It gives a great vape, it durable, and is dirt cheap.

Finally, juice is the most important thing. Buy some good juice and you will be amazed at how good they taste. Of course, if you try one or two and don't like them, don't fret. We all buy juices that sound good and that get great reviews, only to find that they are just not right for us. In time you'll learn what types of juices you prefer.

to me it sounds like your longer battery is giving out a higher voltage than your short battery. Whether that's something that's supposed to happen or not I have absolutely no idea but I would guess that it isn't. My suggestion would be to use the short one, and get another short one or two if you can to use in rotation. Don't use the long one any more, unless you want to try it out again later to see if it gives you that same harsh taste.

Glad the coughing and dizzyness are going away, interested to hear if it gets better over the course of today. Really hope everything works out for you. vaping so far for me has been great.. and it sounds like your setup gave you a bad experience. I'd hate to think that you would miss out on how vaping can be because of a bad experience.

The people suggesting you go online and buy this or that, obviously aren't reading your posts. You may come to the point where you decide you would rather get a different setup, but if you don't it doesn't mean anything. Your greensmoke will probably do just fine for you, especially if you really enjoyed it for a week. Let us know how the short battery is doing in comparison. If it's doing fine, then try getting some more batteries.
