Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Now can we talk about being able to use the word that describes something like Jumbo Shrimp....Icy Hot.... wet/dry vac etc???

I think that it could be done now. And I agree--another useful word we can't use here. But 'arsenal' has just been approved, thanks Admin:), even though the first part of the word (on its rude own) is still censored, so obviously there is a way to allow compound words containing questionable compounds. ;)

Fingers crossed.

also....any chance of ever being able to pm ourselves like we ustacould? (no one ever made fun of me for sayin that til that dang jeff foxworthy came along) lol

I love ustacould and might could... :D

lol Katya, and way kewl that we can now use legitimate words that contain banned words! That's wonderful!! this will make a lot of folks happy that feel some of the censorship has gone above and beyond. Huge thanks again to all the mods and admins that are listening to us!! That really means a lot!!

I totally agree. I don't care for profanity myself (one of the reasons I chose this e-cig forum as my home; I really can't stand some of the language and images that are so prevalent everywhere else), but there is such a thing as too much censorship.

Well, I can't. Well, I can search -- but the answers are all from posts in the forum.

This is while in the "inbox" or a specific conversation. Maybe it's a FF thing? Could be different with different browsers?

The only way I can search my conversations is from the original box -- and get no answers when I look for a known title or user name, that's not mentioned within a conversation. IMHO, being able to search the body of the messages is a nice feature that if available, I didn't know how to do before.

I'm glad to have that feature -- and, of course, would like more. :)

Be happy to receive a conversation on helping me see what I apparently am not --- don't want to take up more real estate here on this small issue.
@tearose50, this is what my search box looks like in Conversations:

Profanity doesn't really bother me, even the worst, unless it's like every-other word -- which I why I dislike those other forums, and a few of the youtubers too; the F word should really be reserved for, oh I dunno, dropping an anvil on one's foot? Or maybe sexting. :D It's not like salt/pepper where it should be liberally sprinkled thru the entire thing. People who use it that way REALLY get on my nerves.

That's what I see, too -- and what I called the "original box".

Maybe it's only working for the new conversations since the change to xenforo?

That's possible I don't have any from the old system left . The other thing make sure that the search conversations box is ticked.

Why are conversations showing up in forum searches? Those should be private... If they cannot be private then there needs to be a method to delete them and I do not mean leave them - I mean delete them...

Are they showing up in Google Searches?

Are the Bots on this forum able to capture them?

This was answered in the Tips and Tricks thread.

do you mean to say your search returns conversations you were not a party to? :?:

So, it only returns conversations that I and the other person in the conversation can see those results?
I think this may be likely. I did delete a pm, then searched for a word that was in the title, and searched that person's name, and it showed no results. But then searched a word for one that was current, and it appeared. The word was reo and only one showed up, and that was one that had it in the title. I expect many of my current pm's have the word Reo in the body of them. Not certain though.
