this is the one I meant by jumbo shrimp, icy/hot etcCan we have oxy***** back, please!![]()
jup but could be swatted for trying to avoid censors maybe.Could we do a Bugs Bunny and say oxymaroon?
@tearose50, this is what my search box looks like in Conversations:Well, I can't.Well, I can search -- but the answers are all from posts in the forum.
This is while in the "inbox" or a specific conversation. Maybe it's a FF thing? Could be different with different browsers?
The only way I can search my conversations is from the original box -- and get no answers when I look for a known title or user name, that's not mentioned within a conversation. IMHO, being able to search the body of the messages is a nice feature that if available, I didn't know how to do before.
I'm glad to have that feature -- and, of course, would like more.
Be happy to receive a conversation on helping me see what I apparently am not --- don't want to take up more real estate here on this small issue.
I totally agree. I don't care for profanity myself (one of the reasons I chose this e-cig forum as my home; I really can't stand some of the language and images that are so prevalent everywhere else), but there is such a thing as too much censorship.![]()

That's what I see, too -- and what I called the "original box".@tearose50, this is what my search box looks like in Conversations:

Maybe it's only working for the new conversations since the change to xenforo?
Why are conversations showing up in forum searches? Those should be private... If they cannot be private then there needs to be a method to delete them and I do not mean leave them - I mean delete them...
Are they showing up in Google Searches?
Are the Bots on this forum able to capture them?
do you mean to say your search returns conversations you were not a party to?![]()
I think this may be likely. I did delete a pm, then searched for a word that was in the title, and searched that person's name, and it showed no results. But then searched a word for one that was current, and it appeared. The word was reo and only one showed up, and that was one that had it in the title. I expect many of my current pm's have the word Reo in the body of them. Not certain though. So, it only returns conversations that I and the other person in the conversation can see those results?

Sonic answered this very well in the Tips and Tricks thread.
A link would be helpfull so we don't have to read the whole thread. I'll try a search but that usually doesn't show what I'm looking for.
