Forum rollback?

Did the forums get rolled back? I was drunk last night but I coulda sworn I made a few posts, even linked one to someone in an email, and I went looking for them this morning and it's like they were never made. I wasn't that drunk, was I?

Actually, you are right. It would appear that they made a copy of the forum database before the switchover.. but posts were made after the copy was imaged. Those posts appear to be lost.

The server moved, and yeah I posted a few that were lost in transition as well

I'm also noticing that some of the avitars are showing as broken. Not all, but most.

I'm using Firefox, but it was working fine yesterday.

As w/ liscab, I wasn't drunk. As w/ DaShiva I had a pretty damn good post in a different forum, I'll not be able to recreate, gone. Ah well... at least my smilin' face still shows in my avatar!

This was really a big job. It wasn't just a simple transfer from one server to another it was a hosting change. I do think that SJ should have been told how long it REALLY takes to propagate a DNS change. I certainly can understand post loss.

Hosting appears to have gone from UK to US, 68% of the visitors were US and only 8.5% from UK.

Hope this lasts a while.
