I just bought a Pelican Micro 1040, and I am looking forward to modding it.

There is an easy foam option. All it requires is the ability to trace and use a razor blade/exacto knife/etc. Any gardening shop will sell these foam kneeling pad things. They are cheap and if you look around you will find a foam that is firm enough to last but soft enough to manipulate. These knee pad things are like 2-5 bucks. Just plan how you want your case to be, trace and cut the size of foam piece you will need for the case and cut it out. Then trace the various ecigs, parts, etc that will be in there and cut that out. Then insert and you are good to go.

I got the 1040 because it has a bit more room for if I am going to be away from the house for a while. I have already modded a Plano Pocket Tackle case with a dremel and the above foam mod. It fits in a pocket, water tight, and nearly indestructible. It also has little plastic compartments, thats why I needed the dremel. I saved all of the compartments I could. I can fit: 1 full Tornado, one battery, 3 standard 510 attys, 3 standard 510 carts, and a 5ml bottle of juice.

The Plano box I used: Plano 1070 Side by Side.
It has worked well so far. The 1040 should work even better I think.

Hurrah!!! Another Pelican convert. Although definitely not fashion statements, they are indestructible.
I want one of Kristin's flash tins next...you know, for those days and nights out and about with style.

Vape On!!!!

Thanks Drozd. I've been on the Vaultz site and contacted them, because I'm considering carrying the utility box and the mini gadget box.

Well, if you're a retailer, you might look into something like pfccases.com -- I haven't looked at quantities for custom work, but a custom foam insert with spots for typically sized bottles, etc., might be doable at wholesale quantities for a re-seller.

For people buying Pelican, don't forget about the pick'n'pluck foam inserts. Actually, I'm sure that pick'n'pluck foam is available in various sizes, and you can just trim it for your case.
