Oh yeah.. There are a lot of "seed beads" I use the small round ones.. like these:

Silver Lined Seed Beads, Size 10 sold by the hank

those are 'silver lined'. They tend to be more sparkly. But any seed bead will work, just depends on your style. Pam, I think the black and gold mix on the top of that page would be perfect for the dress you described!

As for the sizes I have not made myself well versed. I'm not sure exactly how big a size 10 really is so I'm hesitant to suggest anyone buy beads for me to make them a lanyard online until I do some research and post up a size chart.

And Sensay you are really sweet. As usual! What am I ever going to do with you? lol! I can't ever get you to take something for nothing.

Jules is right and I won't take money but if you want we can go to AC Moore together and you can pick out some colors. That way we can hang out again and I can take proper measurements of the Riva. I don't have one so I need to know the dimensions.
That be awesome!!!!!! Sorry was just tryin to help keep you in supplies and since I don't drive I just figured you could get some stuff while you were out and about.

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I did! Sallana, what beautiful things you're making.. I can be creative, but I've no follow through.. ADD or something! You are making awesome things.. my daughter was reading over my shoulder (great little habit of hers  ) and said "Mom, you should get one of those! You'd never lose your Stella again!" (Stella is my pv) She added that I would "be able" to take it off at night, though. She's so considerate! :p

Beautiful work, Sallana!

Unless you have someone else that has their heart set on it, or specifically requested it, I will most certainly love it!

Beads: I'm fairly certain I have some of those... not 100% certain of the size. I know I have some seed beads, and i know I have some that have the lining, but I don't know if they are the same beads :D

P: :sniff: can't believe our little baby is going to be the Mother of the Bride!! [/mushy]

Heh. So I got a PM a few days ago. A request for a carrier that was super girly. We talked a little bit and she wanted something "Pink and Sparkly" I had ideas in the back of my mind but no real supplies to make what I was thinking about. Then as I was going through my craft box I found some really funky pink yarn... and this happened.

It's a knitted carrier that is pink and fluffy. Really fluffy. It doesn't have a strap or anything, it's meant to be carried in a purse or bag of some sort.

Here it is with a 510 on top.

It very comfortably will fit several fully assembled e-cigs and a few bottles of juice. There are no pockets or anything though, it's just a sack.

The hardest part was figuring out how to make it close so that stuff didn't fall out. I decided to use a knitting needle to pull a line of yarn through the top loops, creating a drawstring.

Kathy

I'm glad you like it!! I'll need your addy again if you want it :)

As for the pattern, I am going to be greedy and not post the instructions :p. I figured it out on my own using nothing but my eyes and imagination. I bet it's different than the pattern used for other beaded lanyards, too.. as I just used a method that worked for me. If you want me to send you one... first of all... get in line.. LOL. I won't charge you and you are more than welcome to study it and see if you can make one. But I just do not want to give my pattern away :p
