I started beading when I was 11. I would make pretty necklaces with flower, butterfly and fish pendants (we lived near a lake) and then sell them on the side of the road. I actually managed to sell a few of them. As I got older of course my mastery with them got better.

I had stopped beading about 2 months ago when my entire collection of beads SPILLED all over the place. like, hundreds of thousands of beads just everywhere. And seed beads, too. So no way to separate them.

I only started again when I saw the beaded lanyards and I wanted to try and make one. It was successful and now I find I want to do more and more. Man, PIF just keeps giving :p

I think I'll make LBug a butterfly necklace =D

hey girly...

Guess what I got today???? :D :D :D

It's GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! and it fits my 901 puuuuurrrrrrfectly! I was trying to use my 901 in my other lanyard, but since the 901 is smaller, it got lost in it and the little holes were covered up. This works STELLAR!!

THANK YOU SO SO SO much! You are da bomb

omg.. ROFL! It was too small for my 510 so I almost didn't give it to you because I wanted it to be a perfect size... THIS I did not expect!! I'm soooooooo happy!!

edit: btw, I want pictures of it with a 901 to add to my portfolio =D

edit2: were the 901 attys in there too? Just checking because I already told you about my incident. Want to make sure everything arrived safely.

Oh and please tell me it was slightly open and not completely taped & safe because that would just be icing on the whole frickin story.

I think it's smart to post this reminder every now and then.

I will not accept cash for anything I am making in this thread. Do not offer me cash here, do not offer me cash in a PM, and do not offer me cash through an e-mail.

I appreciate the offers very much. In fact it always makes me smile. Makes me feel like I am worth something, and that is awesome. But I love Pay It Forward, and if I was to accept cash for anything I make and display on this forum, I will be forced to become a registered supplier and no longer be able to participate in this group.

If you would like to help me out, as many others have, you can always buy the supplies yourself and mail them to me. Or I will send you a SASE for them.

Edited to add: If you are disabled, I don't think it would be against the rules to buy some supplies that you would like for me to use on your lanyard/pouch using Ebay or any other online supplier, then you can mail them directly to me. This eliminates the requirements of having to leave the house.

Thanks,
Sallana

I don't know :( I can't figure out what sizes are which. None of the beads I have show a size. I am going to have to go to AC moore and look at them. When I do that I'll let you guys know what I use. I'm pretty sure it's size 10, but I still want to check just in case I'm wrong.

Sooperdrave's lanyard is finished :)

I used the small wooden beads that EmilySunshine sent me. It turned out okay but since the beads varried in size so much, it sort of looks.. I dunno. Like a turd on a string? lol. It fits my 510 with a little room to spare and the necklace part is actually long enough to wear comfortably.

edit: hah. I wish my drip tip was actually that color. it's also the color portrayed on the nhaler website. It's because of the flash. The actual color is a very dark (almost black) blue.

Mine came with the back flap open  but everything was safely inside!
I'll take a picture after I get up and moving :)

I LIKE the wood. You know what, if you don't like the wood, there IS one really nice thing about the wood, you can always stain it another color! ooo.. there are some pretty stain colors, and (I think it was Lowes) some place had little sample packs of the stain gel. If I can find the one I have, I'll toss it in your package. hmm.. where did I put that??

I wen to to Joann fabrics the other day and looked all thru the bead/accessory department. I made myself a lanyard our of a remnant of material/leather thread and fabric glue. rofl. I HAD to have something so I wouldn't lose my hello 016. I'm not sure how it is going to hold up yet. My hubby tried to help by electrical taping the leather 'chain'. You should see this thing!! Reminds me of a project my now 20 year old daughter would have done years ago! Anyway, I saw lots of beads and stuff but I was overwhelmed with all the different sizes etc. When you know for sure what sizes you need and I know for sure the color of my dress, I will get some for you. I did pick up some flat-backed rhinestones. Someone suggested that they would be good for ash caps. If you could use some (I have a bag of about 50) I could include them. Assorted sizes. They won't work on the beaded lanyard but you may be able to use them for something else.

Heya, if your up for a challenge, I've got an man'ish idea for ya ;)

How about a belt pouch (either with a clip or a belt loop) that could fit a Chuck/SB/Indulgence. Don't know if you can work leather, but a stiff "cloth" would work just as well, or maybe nylon.

If you need supplies, I might be able to dig up some stuff, as well as physical dimensions of said devices if needed :)
