In our quest to best serve you, we started looking at our freebie program as well as the flashlights that we give away with each order..

I'm sure some of you have more flashlights than you could need so in a way it doesn't make sense to continue sending one with every order.

We started looking at freebies also and although nice, may not always be what you need/want and I'm sure a lot of them go unused.

With that in mind we are considering a generous point system where for every dollar spent you get a point(points are worth 10 cents each) that are redeemable for gift certificates that can be used to purchse products that you actually want and need instead of a sometimes random freebie that may be of no use to you.

We are actually also looking at being able to provide qty discounts(and you'd still earn points)

I'm sure there'd still be some freebies but just wanted to get a general idea of which you folks would prefer, the current system with random freebies or a point system where you can use the points for what you want?

Thanks for any feedback,

hoog

"if it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!.." Wait... No, that's my Jeep.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Yes, that's the one I was looking for.

I like seeing my package from MadVapes and wondering what kind of surprise I might find inside.

Freebies and points aren't my deciding factor to purchace from MadVapes so whatever you decide works for me.

I WILL however vote that you put the flashlights up for sale on the site though. :D

I'd buy from you regardless, but you have a point about the flashlights. Once you have a few you don't really need anymore.

A point system would be nice, but I really like the idea of quantity discounts. If I remember correctly the only thing I've ever ordered just (1) of from you has been a 5v pass-through.

I recently ordered your 510 attys (replacing my nasty tasting Joyes) and I was thrilled to see the free gift inside. Not only was shipping fast, price was excellent, but someone gave me something FREE! It seems the veteran men get a lot of freebies from vendors but many women have said they don't get freebies. I don't know if this is true, although it has been in my experience, but the flashlight is something I will always look at fondly. :) It's handy for getting a better look inside my attys and carts! Thank you!!

I personally don't like point systems. And while I don't expect freebies, they're nice (though I prolly don't need any more flashlights).

If you feel the need to do anything (and with your service, selection and pricing you shouldn't) I'd vote for either throwing in an extra of whatever is on the order or something totally different. IMHO, something different would maybe expand your customer base (for instance, I've never bought juice from you, but throw in a sample bottle and that'll remind me that you sell it AND give me a chance to try something I might not have purchased).

But really, for me, it all boils down to selection, service and price and NOT freebies. If there's 2 suppliers who have equal s/s/p THAN maybe the freebies would sway me, but otherwise they don't!

Just my $.01

I have the worst luck in the world. My freebies from E-cig suppliers consist of business cards so far. And I don't even keep those, LOL.
But it does always give me a thrill of excitement when I get my packages, wondering what will be in them, (other than what I ordered).
So I guess that I'd have to say,.. I think I would like the freebie program. I'm not fond of looking at the points I've earned, and the things that I want that I don't have enough points for.
But you guys seem to know what your doing. You already have the most important thing,.... Fast, friendly service and good products at good prices,... everything else is just gravy!

I would have to echo what KarrMcDebt has said above. I never get freebies from anyone even when they've messed up my orders and this is from the very same vendors you read of giving freebies to everyone it seems. MadVapes is the one and only non-discriminating genuine vendor yet. (out of several)

I've never gotten a flashlight yet but what has been included as my freebies has been very thought-out, intelligent extras that I needed that makes my brother and I wonder how the heck does Hoogie know these things?

I vote for what works best for Hoogie and company. But I vote for the freebies the highest. Business wise it really works as it makes me want to buy more things and I have no reluctance to hand my money over to one of the only vendors yet who have treated my brother and I as if we are as equal as anyone else that buys from him........ (And Hoogie never even messed up one of my orders yet)

You've got my business and highest recommendations at this point regardless.

(vote = freebies)

I love freebies! but points are good too. I'm also in the club of not getting any extras with the orders I've made so far(well a free cartomizer once).

What a great post dreams n chains. Funny I was thinking the
same thing about some of the suppliers here. Seems the same people get the freebies - win the contests - and the rest of the customer base gets treated like second class. It's a bad way to run business. I certainly don't want to buy from them.

I agree with you it's good to find someone who treats everyone the same

Points are hard to get instant gratification/excitement.
Points are good for long term.
You pick!!
hehehe if he does lol will probably get both lol he's just too nice as he indicated above! Now he's probably shaking his head saying what did I do to myself LOL beer low... I say!

Honestly Hoog- Your a wonderful supplier. I do not come for points or freebies. They are appreciated. I have always been hesitant about posting gifts. Especially since as you've mention- it's not always a given and you keep track of our past purchases.

There is a sector of the marketplace that will be entice to try your business because of such things and that's great too. You unlike some vendors manage to give nice gifts and great pricing w/excellent service. I agree with THY. Do what you feel benefit you. Your loyal customers- just want you to be around!!

I mean who else has a rep for giving out ponies?
