Put it in glass, with a little headspace, and a screw cap not a dropper. Place the bottle inside a liquid-proof package such as ziplock bags or a waterproof container.

Unfavoured PG or VG should last for years like this - 3 or more years seems likely. Mixed juices won't last as long because the flavors are much more likely to deteriorate and/or contaminate the liquid. You might well get 2 years though. All opinions on this subject are conjecture because nobody has done this for much more than a year or so.

I store my nicotine base liquid in the freezer. Rolygate is right on the money, glass and bag is the way to go. I usually wrap mine in bubble wrap before putting it in the bag just in case something well frozen in my deep freezer knocks against it so it will have some bumper protection.

The liquid itself does not solidify. I use the freezer as a way to slow the oxidation of the nicotine, but I doubt it does much more than that. Even that is worth the trouble to me.

Even VG-only nic juice does not freeze solid in my freezer. Becomes as thick as rubber cement though. PG gets a touch thicker, but is still quite liquid. I recently pulled a MyFreedomSmokes 100 mg VG bottle out of my freezer after 13 months. No change in color or potency at all. Fresh as the day I got it. OTOH, my Totally Wicked 36 mg PG (made in China) after the same time had "ripened", meaning any tobacco tones that were only slight initially were now quite strong, and the liquid was yellowed some. Too bad I can't vape PG, as it was actually quite a nice tobacco juice...but definitely not unflavored anymore. The Decedent Vapor 54 mg PG was unchanged in taste and color.

So it seems that freezer is great for clean US-made nic juice, but Chinese juice might "age" some in flavor. The TW seemed still about 36 mg in strength, but that is only qualitative from vaping it.
