Front teeth hurt after lots of vaping?

Mine did from gripping the tip with my teeth. I've since moved it over to between my canine and first molar, and that helps. I still grip it with my teeth, but those teeth are more used to heavy work.

Also, something's twigging at my memory that PG can cause tooth sensitivity. If that turns out to be true--I'm not sure--you might want to try a sensitive toothpaste from your local grocery store. That might help.

Most toothpastes and lots of foods and personal care products contain PG. You'd think that those would cause the same symptoms.

Yeah it gets sensitive...probably the dry mouth, that makes sense. Thanks everyone

Ahh yes, your teeth are porous. So if they are dry (like say from PG) then yes they could be more sensitive :) I have been using MI paste, available for purchase (usually) from your dentist. Also biotene is a great mouth rinse for dry mouth. And yes keep the water bottle handy!

A relative of mine that I successfully got off of Cigs........ After several weeks....... her gums(teeth) started hurting something awful. She went back to smoking. I think its the PG. She was at 50/50...I mixed her some DIY at 60%VG after a two week lay off with not much luck. Her gums were hurting about 3 to 4 hours later. She immediately stopped and ached during the night, but were fine in the morning.

Im going to do a mix as pure of VG as I can to see if this helps the situation.

So, your not alone and this is a real problem.....allergy of some sort.

I had that issue about a month after I began vaping. About 3 months in I broke out with hives and discovered I have a pg allergy. I have since switched to pg free e-liquids and haven't had that issue to reoccur. That may not be what's causing your teeth to hurt but it's something to consider.

One other thing to note, all those killer chemicals in normal cigarette smoke does help to keep some of the bacteria in the mouth at bay. Once you switch to vaping and those chemicals are no longer there, some bacteria can start to flourish again and cause various symptoms from sensitivity, to bleeding/sore gums, etc.

A trip to the dentist once symptoms start can get a good diagnosis and possibly an easy solution. For me switching mouthwash ended up being the recommendation. Also regular cleanings is a must for a healthy mouth.

Vaping is a really good environment for dental issues. Be proactive. Dehydration + sweeteners = tooth decay.

everything I'm reading on this says 0 calorie sweeteners do NOT cause any tooth decay (although I'm totally with you on the dry mouth),,,,

where are you getting your info? I don't need any cavities!

Yeah...that's weird. (like the gold top. what year?)

It's a 2010 Epiphone. It's actually my 3rd Les Paul. The other two are a 1994 Gibson LP Studio in Wine Red/ gold trim and another Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Red w/Yellow Burst. It has Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups that I installed myself. My oldest is a '79 Fender Stratocaster 50th anniversary edition that's stock and was once my go to guitar. I picked up a blonde Squire Telecaster a couple of years ago just because I like the Tele sound and then installed a set of Fender Custom Shop pickups. For a while there I had new guitar acquisition syndrome. :) I also have a couple of 6 string acoustics and a Peavey Foundation Bass.

I try to rotate them on gigs, but I tend to favor one or the other and stick with that one too long. Right now, the Epiphone Gold Top is staying home and the Gibson is getting stage time. My favorite is still the Red/yellow burst Epi. it just feels right and sounds the best. They all have their own good points and sound somewhat unique.
