RickMc, as a newbie, I'm still confused about something. Ad says: " This tank comes with 3 replaceable heating elements. One (1) each of 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 ohms. So you can choose the one that produces the best experience for you. "

Okay, exactly "how" would one's "experience" be different with a 1.8, 2.4, or 2.8? I mean, what exactly do you experience when using those different things on lets say an Ego Twist?

I really have no idea what subtle differences would be inherent in any of those.

The amount of heat (wattage, just like a light bulb) your PV is producing influences the taste/throat hit/vapor production. The wattage can be calculated mathematically:

(volts) x (volts) / (ohms of resistance) = (watts)

So if you put those three "heating elements" (atomizer heads) on the same 3.7 volt device such as a KGO:
The 1.8 ohm head will produce 7.6 watts
The 2.4 ohm head will produce 5.7 watts (cooler vape with less flavor and TH)
The 2.8 ohm head will produce 4.9 watts (even less)

So you would probably use one of the lower resistance heads on an EGO or KGO, and the higher resistance head on a higher voltage or variable voltage device. At any given wattage, higher voltage/resistance combination drains the battery less.

Hope this helps some!

I really like this site. I appreciate all of the help you guys give. I like the 36 mL idea Stosh and I have never thought of vaping lemon. Lemon pie is my favorite. Not sure about vaping it but I think I will give it a shot.
Also, I appreciate the comment about the Viva Nova. You guys really would not buy one for the Kgo. What battery should I get for a Viva Nova? Well, besides the provari.
Had a brick and mortar shop open about 45 min's away, think I will drive over and check it out today. It is called smokescreen. Going to call and see / hope / pray / they have that adapter.

A Nova will work fine on a KGO. I don't do it often, but I occasionally use a Nova on a KGO or an EGO-C Twist. If you're using them on a KGO you would want to use (probably) the 1.8 ohm head or (maybe) the 2.4 ohm head. Your taste will tell you which.

It really does, Rick. Thanks. I think I may be in the minority, experimenting, I don't actually like a real warm vape, and noticed on the low ohms I cough and don't feel I can even inhale---- so maybe I'll go with the 2.4 ohm and see if a cooler vape helps.

I think you may not be in the minority as much as you think. I rarely go above 8 watts and most of my vaping is done around 7.

Well, I drove 45 minutes to go check out the new brick and mortar shop and it was awsome. The nice folks that own it are , more than anything, trying to educate people about vaping. It reminded me of getting fit for a pair of glasses.
The cool thing was they have all flavors they carry in a cart so you can screw it on your battery and decide if you like it or not.
Not sure how may flavors they have but I was able to taste every one and fell in love with one. It tastes like a vanilla cupcake icing kinda thing. I love it , have been vaping it all afternoon. Yummy,,
I also bought a few dual coil carts and they kick ... on my Kgo batt. Wish I would have bought all dual coil but got 2 of each ,,,single and dual for my Kgo. Dual coil makes a lot of difference in flavor in my opinion.

RickMc - Thanks for posting this, it explains a lot.
I just got a mini viva nova and it came with a 2.4 installed.
It works great on my eGo upgrade battery, but terrible on my mini eGo.
I have a 1.8 ohm on the way and I'm hoping it will do the trick.
The eGo upgrade runs unregulated at 4.2v. Would the 1.8 ohm burn the wick at this voltage?
I think the eGo mini is regulated at 3.7v soit should be a good match for it, but I don't want to ruin it if I try it with the eGo upgrade.
Thanks again!

The eGo upgrade battery may come off the charger at 4.2 volts, but it won't stay there very long at all. It will deliver 3.7 volts over most of the life of a charge. The mini eGO is regulated at 3.4v. Both should be fine with a 1.8 ohm head. The mini will be delivering about 6 1/2 watts, the larger unregulated batt about 7 1/2 watts once it drops to its nominal voltage of 3.7. In the end, your taste will tell you whether this is a good range for you.

Just wanted to point out that the KGO runs a little higher than you quoted.

These batteries run at a higher voltage than most, instead of the3.3v to 3.7v provided by most eGo/Riva batteries these provide 3.8v under load with 1.5ohm dual coils and over 4.0v under load on 2.0ohm single coil cartomizers.
