Funny looks

I've noticed a few funny looks when vaping out on the streets. Particularly from smokers. Some look bewilded/puzzled, others look utterly disgusted. Just wondered if anyone else has had any strange looks off people whilst vaping. Makes me feel uncomfortable slightly. I have had a couple of people come up to me ask me what it is.

I've had funny looks, still get them but i vape for my health and so i don't stink around my daughter, couldn't care less what anyone else says or thinks about it.

It's not all bad cos i see a lot more people vaping these days too, Vape on bro!

Yep! I am from a small town and I have only seen 2 other people that vape. Most people look at me like I am doing something illegal!! I just keep on puffing and chuckle inside LOL

I get looks then questions. Converted 4 folks so far. Created a couple "vape monsters" in the process

Most of the "funny looks" I get seem to be of the puzzled or curious type.

Hmmm I try but have failed to get looks, even using my 134. Most people don't like to make eye contact.

I've only been vaping for 4 days but haven't had any strange looks (as yet). I have loads of friends who vape and they have never mentioned anything like that so far.

Same here, i'vent seen anyone else vape in public at my place. Also e-ciggs aren't that common in sweden yet.

I haven't got any strange looks, but the other day I was talking to a guy at work who said he had gone back to smoking after several months and I was telling him how vaping was working well for me and he made the comment that using e-cigarettes is like doing your cousin it might feel good but it just isn't right. I just said whatever man I haven't had a cigarette in over a month now and have no desire to go back to smoking

I have received many dirty looks and a boat load of questions, doesnt bother me though lol. I have converted about 37-40 people to vaping just at work. I dont push ne thing on them. They ask and I tell basically hahahaha there use to be about 60-65 smokers on break and now there is only 23-28 now All because I wasnt afraid to vape and was willing to help them learn.

Not really, which surprises me. The only thing I've noticed is my child giving smokers dirty looks and him telling me that they should vape.

I only have gotten disappointed smokers now that I don't have any analogs they can bum off me or a light. Yeah, I meant to carry a lighter with me still, I just forgot.

Eh, most people just see the cloud and think it's smoke. I've had people cover the mouths, cough and give me dirty looks. There are still a lot of misunderstandings regarding vaping and many people simply know nothing about it.

Nobody at work has complained, there happy I gave up smokes....

I mostly got questions about it and most people think it is really expensive until I explain you can get a good setup for less than the cost of a carton of cigs and once I learned what I was doing my vaping 200ml a month of DIY and rebuilding my heads costs less than $10 per month usually results in "how can I get started?"

Let them look. Had a co-work ask if I was doing drugs, lol. Got to explain vaping and told her if she was interested in trying it I'd help her pick a good device and juice. Had a couple of college kids point and laugh at me, I just ignored them. You would think in a town of 66,000 there would be more of us, but I've only seen a couple other e-cigs, it's like they're all hiding. I feel lonely.
