They must be using it on units with overhead tanks that gravity pulls the juice down. Almost no capillary action in 200 mesh so the juice will not go up. It is a very easy lab experiment. Roll 3 in long wicks from different mesh, put them in a small jar with 2 inches of vg and leave them over night. The next day you can see that the only one the juice has risen is the 400. 500 is even better if you can find it. Basic law of capillary action is the smaller the hole the higher the liquid rises. Doesn't matter if it is PG or VG. Now if you want liguid to flow down, the bigger the holes the bigger the flow (not capillary action) and the harder to control. Hard to put a valve on gravity.

Nope, big DiD thread on the french forum, they have their own specialists there too you know :)

OK bj, got a question for ya, lol? I got a vivi from a freind, I increased the hole next to the Ground screw and it keeps popping the top section of the wire almost imediately when I fire it? Got a 4 round, a 5 round and a 6 round and it poppes it everytime?
Sounds like a direct short. Did you take a ohms reading? When starting a new coil/wick set the voltage down as low as you can until you are sure there are no shorts.

Was on a EGO-T 18650 mod at 3.4V. When I touched the ends the reading would jump around, but the first reading was 2.0 ohms. Now it quit working all together, lol.
WORD OF WARNING TO MODDERS. THERES A WIRE THATS SOLDERED TO THE SILVER SPACER IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS THING. WHEN TIGHTENING THE MIDDLES SCREW MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PAIR OF NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS ON THE SPACER. It has a wire between the middle spacer and the pos connection on the bottom of the base. Turn it too many times and it will break. Here's the peices

Theres NOTHING to hold it tight on the top were it goes thru.

A little duct tape will fix it :)

Sorry you found out the hard way about the wire.

Scubabatdan - With all your experience regarding attys, etc., is there are particular method (with video) that you prefer for preparing mesh? Applogy offered if you have already spoken to this.

Here is a video on my channel for the GTUS, the only differance is you will not need to do the 1/8" fold for the bottom, everythng else is the same :)

Really? Only 2mLs, hmmm. About the same as a XL CE2? Dang, was hoping for like something like 3 or 4 at least.

ETA:
OK, did find this at Mountain Oak Vapors listing:
"The Smoktech ViVi Rebuildable Tank is the newest tank setup from Smoktech. This tank is made from polypropylene and holds approximately 4ml. These are threaded with a 510 connection for use on most Ego-style batteries, and other APV's with the 510 connection. End caps are all metal, and the mouthpiece is designed after the popular Ming style. The setup comes wicking and coil already installed. You can replace the wick, and heating coil very easily on these using nichrome or kanthal wire and wick. "

Thanks for the responses :D. Mine are finally on their way from China (there was a holdup with another item in the co-op). I was hoping to get at least most of a day's vaping on one fill, and looks like that may be possible. (Although, for some unknown reason, I'm half-way through my second fill of my cotton-wicked XL CE2 now )

I found that out the hard way. Replaced the wire, but my gloppy solder job was so sloppy I kept shorting it out. Tried to insulate with silicone, and didn't let it cure long enough. Needless to say, silicone fumes are indeed a little flammable.

Well I re soldered it back together but it's still shorting out. I can see that neither post is touching it from the top, but can't figure it out????????????????????
