I'm not familiar with the emachines CAD program but I think Dan was going for a helical/screw spiral (similar to the image below). Is this correct, Dan?

Yes but the emachine shop only allows 4 views, hence the reason there are only 4 spirals.

Ok got an email for emachineshop today, here it is:

Hi Daniel,

The parts have been sent to our partner supplier for rework (or remake if warranted).
I expect to receive a status update next week.
I will inform you with any update I receive.

I'm confused,does the above statement mean that you sent the parts back to emachine last week for repairs and now they are sending them somewhere else for the repairs?

Since we're waiting anyway, nudge them to remake the tops without threads tapped the whole length of the interior. Then, those of us that had to wait, can send neener neeners to the 22 that got theirs already.

:)

I believe they are chasing the threads and not remaking them, had I been aware of the problem when I sent them in I would have included that. I will have to see what they do. :(

I sent them back 2 weeks ago, and they are at their supplier (partner). Extended service branch? IDK.
