That tubing is only good to 392 degrees, I am using PTFE heat shrink good to 650 degrees. I also have PTFE hard tubing that is good to 500 degrees.

I looked at the PTFE, but was concerned about the off gassing on the articles I found... supposedly starting at 350 degrees. Don't know if that was accurate, but decided to try the silicone instead, and yes, the temp is a concern.

I noticed the coil on your new mod appears to be considerably closer to the post (against it?). I hadn’t thought of cutting it that close in. The silicone I have goes to 450 and, if I can get it to cooperate, has worked well up to now.

Guess I’ll find out.

That is just the angle of the pic, there is about a 1/16" gap between the wick and the post.

Oh and here is an example of the scroll pattern, yes I was bored again....
And yes it is a pill fob! LOL

I guess I should start begging you for "the comments" I need and should add to avoid issues. I know I am an nuicance.........butif you could help that would kick some serious ______________. I decided to leave the last work off as not to offend anyone, you can fill in the blank like an adlib if you want ;)

Ahhh I guess i missed this post, was wonder what you were waiting on me to say :)

The comments.....

#1 All pieces should fit each other!
#2 threading should stop at all thread relief cuts, not continue past them.
#3 All tops should fit flush to the mid section see comment #1
#4 Connector piece should fit bottom > bottom should fit mid section > all tops should fit mid section

Wow thats about it, it those were followed everyone would have a G-Tank-US by now...

As an alternative to using .75" OD polycarb tubing for the GTank US, I tried snug fitting .875" OD polycarb. Since I have 2 Scubagen V3s I used the stainless steel top cap for my 510 mouth piece. I used a thick .625" ID o-ring to snug fit at the base of where the stainless outer tank screws on to the combustion chamber of the GTank US, to give an air tight seal and drilled a small hole for the air vent into the combustion chamber. I cut the tube long enough to go to the base of the entire unit. If you have any kind of mod that has at least a .875 diameter at the top (like a GGTS SS or Chuck or Saber Touch, etc...)the tube fits flush to it. It works really well with no threading. Took about 10 minutes to make.
