I'll admit... I've been contemplating my own device and the possibility of having a machine shop do it rather than have it be made from plastic or wood, even thought about using the same machine shop as Dan... but I can 110% say hell no to them. Errors were made the first time around and then the items were sent back to be fixed. Said items then came back with the same issue? Honestly, knowing the reason they came back - wouldn't you (eMachineShop) want to test fit the items to ensure the items were correct this time?

Dan - I applaud the fact that you're able to keep a level head throughout this. I personally know that I have no tolerance for something like this and would have blown a major gasket over it. Just hoping they're able to arrive soon...

Yes, it is. As one who already has the unit, I can say that with confidence. It is an amazing design and works great. When the machine shop finally pulls its head from where the sun don't shine, the product will be worth the wait. Aside from the obvious machine shop mistakes, all of the other so-called "issues" with the GTUS are nothing more than fine-tuning, learning how to set up wicks, and otherwise learning how to properly use the device. We, or at least I, don't suggest things like "remove the ptfe tubing and widen the wick" to demonstrate that the device is flawed, but merely to present set-up options for others to try when they get theirs. Honestly, the vast majority of "issues" with the GTUS, and with any genisis atty, relate to wicking and getting your wick set up right. Once that is accomplished, you have something that no mass-produced atty can compare to.

I know i am impatiently waiting for my first genesis type mod or atty i hope i am not disappointed because i love my ody's and iatty i hope it can hold a candle next to it no offense to Dan or Zen or the other genesis modders we will just have to wait and see

I look at my rebuildable attys as I use to compare my cigars, Cohiba. Romeo & Juliet, OpusX, not as which was better but the variety of pleasure they gave me. The Line, GTUS, Ody, Iatty, A2 and a bunch of other homemade mods give me a variety and each has its pros and cons. Vaping will never give the consistency of mass produced cigs, but once you accept that you really get to appreciate vaping as I have for over three years. I have attys that I only use occasionally, at that moment it is the one I yearned for. As they say "Variety is the spice of life."

I own the iAtty with GGTS and many Genisis mods and I can say with 100% certainty that Genisis mods vape better than the iAtty/Ody (at least in my opinion. Once dialed in, the Genisis mods require less maintenance that the GG rebuildables and are far more consistent. I can roll a wick and wrap it and not have to bother with it much for months at a time. The iAtty required cleaning within a week and the taste was off within 2 days. The Genisis mods keep the same flavor for longer and when they do need cleaning they are much easier to get back to top working order. Just my 2 cents :)

You can always use dimensional analysis to convert! :)

On a serious note, and as a "true" American, just use https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/features.html#unit

I decided to pull my GTUS and play with it again.
I am happy to report that removing the upper ptfe isolator and rolling a thicker 320 wick has created a chain vapping monster with no dry hits.

Also wile cleaning it one of the plastic washers for the connector assembly disappeared on me so I made one by cutting out the side of a carto condom in the proper washer shape and it is working great. I may need to make a second for thickness but it is working great for now.

I still have a couple of modifications to make however. I need to bevel the very edge of the tanks as they are cutting the O ring a little and my 5ml tank needs to be modified a little to keep it on.
