Just wondering... when can i put my hand on GTank-US? You all talking about improvements which i cant imagine what that are for :(

You've missed this co-op abah... we're waiting on delivery now. Might keep an eye on the classifieds to see if someone decides to drop after delivery though.

I was at the point of letting mine go but now that it has been rocking awesome vapes for an entire day you will never get it away from me. It may even replace my SGV3 as my most favorite. I might even unload a couple of my SGV3's if this thing keeps preforming this well as it is much easier to use on a daily basis. Even though I still like the mellow warmth of the SGV3 a little more.

No Idea, we are waiting on the T-tops to be sent back to Dan, from the machine shop again..............

Soon as he knows anything he lets us know, and at the moment he doesn't know when we will be getting them, heck I don't even think the machine shop has the stuff back yet.............

safe bet is another month

Man I hope that it does not take that long... but you are probably accurate with that time frame.
Parts are all boxed up and will ship tomorrow.

I have also tried the no spacer and larger wick and I have to agree it does help for chain vaping. I have not gotten a dry hit since removing the PTFE spacer and moving to a larger wick. I agree, if the wick is oxidized properly there will not be any shorting to the main body.
Dan

what is your overall dimensions for your wick in this config? Also did you remove the tank nipple for the wider wick?

I was one of the lucky that got one of the first 22 GTUS shipped.
The GTUS is a Sherman tank, it is just not for me. I am a pilot and all overhead tanks leak when the pressure reduces while climbing to high altitudes, so I am sticking to “Line” type attys and it seems a shame to have this great atty without use.
So I have listed it in the classifieds for sale with extras. PM me if interested.

I think the only thing you could do in that situation would be to either fill after you get to altitude or keep the tank off and plugged until at altitude and then assemble. PITA. That is a real bummer.
