I haven't jumped down the squonk rabbit hole yet despite intense pressure from the shinyitis group. I'm still in the intrigued camp. Not overly fond of dripping, only enjoy it occasionally.

A few folk I know bought the vandy pulse bf kit as their first venture into squonking. For them it changed the game. They rave about it so much that I uh...had...to get one and check.
Impressed, I must say.
I just can't go down the plastic or 3D printed road. I want metal. I'm sure I'll enjoy squonking, doubt it will convert me tho. Of course I said the same thing about rtas.

Need to recruit you to the Shinyitis Support Group thread full time. I have both the Therion 133 & 166. They are always with me. Love all my mods but the Therions have my heart. The battery placement on the bf will keep me from buying it. I'll go with the Coppervape when/if I jump. It's simplicity attracts me.I get that. Therion bf?

The battery placement is poor, for sure. I think the saving grace for me is that I use higher capacity batteries which works with the builds I like so I don't find myself opening that damn battery cover every other hour.

Looked at that one too awhile back. Just didn't appeal to me. My latest rabbit hole is mixing, seems you can't have too many flavors.
Squonking on the backburner for now. Besides I'd like to have another Therion. Hoping when the 250 DNAc chip is released the prices will come down on the 133 & 166 DNA Therions. Not holding my breath tho, the 133 prices didn't drop much when the 166 was released.
Who knows, I might even try squonking, in the future that is. Right now though, my eyes are firmly set on that Squid v2.1, that is my next conquest, and if I like, maybe more than one, or two. I am Soooooooo Weak, it's pitiful.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit I was considering a black one - provided I can be assured it's the later (powder coated) version. I have no idea what I'd do with it, but maybe I'd just alternate them.

I changed my mind about another one as a friend has took the mod to put a custom wrap on it
Save the paintwork and change the look but at a fraction of the price.I wish someone would make a real leather sleeve for it though

Well, my DB is dangerous, or maybe I am, dropped it on my big toe, oh boy did that hurt, it bounced off onto the carpet so at least no damage to the mod. I bet I'll have a black toe nail now, of course Emmy almost messed her pants laughing.
I broke my little toe by dropping an ironing board on it... an old one without that "safety" button thing so it was a round tube of sharp wire. If I hadn't been wearing Australian Lambskin slippers, I think I would have lost it. I feel bad for your TOE that stuff HURTS. Glad your mod is okay....
