I'm not sure I could go back to just two of anything regarding my vape day to day.
I generally use three every day, but I could get by with just two if I had to.

Not sure I'm in it for the nic anymore.
Try going without and see what happens. Some can do it, others can't. I'm in the latter group. I've spent the last year trying to get from 15 down to 12, in 0.5mg steps. Such small steps shouldn't even be noticeable, right? Well I've only made it to 13 and I really don't wanna go lower. I've been there for months, but it still feels a bit weak.

I only step down nic 1mg when my body tells me it's time. Did recently start mixing 8mg and still have some 9mg left so not really noticing the difference yet. Just took my friends juices up to 15mg, she's wanting to try again at giving up the A.M. smoking. Taste tested one the other day and was shocked how fast the room started spinning.

I was going to lower my nic a little at a time. I mixed a batch that was supposed to be 16 mg (down from 18) and accidentally made it 12 mg instead. It was fine. So, I just stuck with that.

I did try 0 mg once. It tasted awful! The nic adds to the flavor or helps it develop or something. I've also tried some 6 mg that someone gave me. It wasn't as awful as the 0 mg, but a little in that direction.

So, I doubt I'll ever go below 9 mg. But, I'm happy at 12 for now.

My game changer was an MVP2 with a Russian 91 and a kayfun 3.1. Started mixing diy from Heartland Vapes (they're local) and haven't looked back.
I weaned my self down from 18 to 10 and then 9. I also make some 36 for stealth vaping which I keep in a kfm3. I found I was puffing on that a lot. I have gone back to 15 and will brew up some 20 when I run out. Cutting down on my nicotine made me just as obnoxious as when I tried quitting the stinkies.

I'll have to agree with that, but in the opposite way. When I went up from 8mg's to 9mg's I noticed it right off the bat. So, I hear what you are saying Rossum, it does make a difference.:thumb:

I don’t see the need to go lower if your body is happy where you're at. I don't have any health issues that nic would have much impact on tho.

For the most part, I don't see a need to lower nic usage either. I have no puritanical belief that nic is bad and must be eliminated.

But, I believe flavor and TH are best at about 12 mg. Higher tends to be a little harsh. Lower tastes funky.

The only reason I reduced to 12 mg was to ensure my nic stash lasts a long, long time. And, I'm glad I did because of the flavor.

I think my lack of desire for a throat hit was engendered by the state of my throat (raw) when I quit smoking, but since I like my vape TH free, I'm glad I don't need to worry about those matters. I kind of like the difference in my vape, compared to cigarettes. Flavorful, satisfying, and very, very innocuous to my respiratory system. Since it can be hard to stumble on that "perfect" throat hit (or so I hear) I am glad I am not seeking it out.

Today is they day I will be lowering most of my nic at least a bit. Going to be having at my current flavors, and I plan to use my PEG400 as an opportunity to try and stay a bit lower, although there may have to be some "emergency" flavoring added. I think I will shoot for VG70, DW10 and PEG400 20 to start. Kind of excited but it's still dark here, will need to do it later on I think...

Nic salts really are a great solution for anyone wanting a smoother vape.

My Cardiologist tells me that Nic (even though I told her it was Pharmaceutical Grade) was an irritant to my heart. I know she is an anti-vaper, because she told me so. I've been trying to research it for myself, but haven't been learning too much though.

I would ask my pharmacist. They will be more familiar with nic side affects and any interactions with your meds if you are on any.
