I hadn't thought about having to clean the bottles. I find my interest is waning. I have too much gear to keep clean as it is. Never was fond of chores.

Me neither Letitia, never thought of that aspect of Squonking. One would need a whole box of bottles to get around that long enough for a days or weeks vape time.
If you, and/or anyone else who uses the Innokin SVD2.0 wants to add any replacement parts for it to your stash...Evcigarettes.com has them in their Blowout Clearance section for $2-5. They've got the Top Cap Connectors (the 510 and the eGo) for $2 each, the bottom Battery Covers for $3 each, and the different tube sizes, too. Both SS and Black were available in all the parts when I ordered mine Nov. 27th.
Reminds me of a Nightstick,especially in black, i have a half dozen of them.....great with a black kayfun on top
I used mine with a Black Lemo V1 on top. I could almost be sitting in my chair and reach over with it in hand and turn Off the light switch on the wall (in 18650 config). Very Handy.

It's regulated, it's built like the proverbial brick OutHouse, can be used as a implement of thought redirection (when ya thump someone across the head with it), has a Good paint job on it (better than most). Those are just a few of the reasons I like it as my only Tube mod.

Cleaning a bottle is certainly no harder than cleaning a tank. Also, depending on the type of bottle you choose to use, they can be very inexpensive, meaning you can just dedicate one (or more) to each flavor in your rotation.
I have too many bottles to clean now. Thanks to you I now wash my new amber's too. Squonking can wait at least until I'm done doing diy testers.

Prior to getting it, I was all about KFL/R91 tanks and DNA20s. When I got it, I was thinking to myself: "Why am doing this, a mechanical squonker?" In fact, I was debating just keeping it as a collector's item (its the second one pdib ever made, although I wasn't its first owner). But as soon as I started vaping it, I was hooked. In part, it was the form factor. It fit and carried gracefully in my shirt pocket, were for 36 years, there had been a pack of cigarettes. In part, it was the ease of maintenance. Need to check or re-wick the build? Pull the cap off the atty and do it; no muss, no fuss with having to drain the tank. Trivially easy to change the battery or fill the bottle. No flooding/gurgles with changes in temperature and or altitude. And last, but certainly not least the vape; there no long chimney that it has to pass through, and the the juice doesn't sit there on top of and surrounding (in direct contact) with the hot chamber.

And though I won't go back to squonking, you're quite right about the ease of rewicking (same as a dripper, with the advantage of the built in liquid supply) and about the non-cooking of juices in tanks.
