i have read all of the replies, but im still not convinced on buying anything else. now im starting to think all of my liquid is bad with no way to prove it. i have wasted almost $500, i might just sell the provari, and keep using my kanger evods.. at least thats what got me to quit, the provari made it worse..

see the one question i have here is this.

when i bought the protank 2 it came with 2 replacement coils. those coils worked perfectly, not screwing all the way down, but still perfectly, no aerotank base or anything. but when i ended up using both of those and having to order replacement coils, these coils would screw all the way down and just flood themselves after 5 minutes. shouldnt the coils be the exact same? the ones that came with the protank were awesome!

I am wondering if you got genuine Kanger coils when you reordered? I don't blame you. I would not want to spend more $ either. Not when you could make what you already have work and you know that it worked once for you already.

One thing that you may want to do is to get some more coils for your Evod from a reputable vendor. Somewhere like Discount Vapors or Sun Vapers will have the genuine Kanger coils.

Ok, I know I'm going to get beat up for telling you my experience last week, but here goes. My girlfriend and I use ProVaris' with no issues. It's the attachments that have been our source of headaches. She now uses a Areotank and I use Nautilus'. Last week, we went out of town for 4 daze to see Alice Cooper and Motley Crue. To avoid taking bottles of juice to fill that damn tank every night and not have to worry about having extra heads or drip tips "just in case", I took prefilled cartos and what a breath of freash air! I took prefilled Boges filled with Dekang from Smoktek and Johnson Creek prefills. The Boges I would get 2 out 5 DOA or dry spots. The Johnson Creek's performed flawlessly and I used less than 2 a day, somtimes 2 depending on how long we were awake. I carried 10 in a hard cig case in my back pocket. That way, if one got finished or I had a bad one, I had plenty of spares and easy carry. When one was done, I'd throw it away and put on a freshy. A little on the expensive side? Sure, but talk about hassle free and still cheaper than smoking! I've seen the light. When traveling, I'm taking Johnson Creek prefills. I'm going to allow for 3 a day to be on the safe side and if I run out, I'll go to a store and buy Blu cartos. It was absolute travel/vape/stress free Heaven!

What do you mean "not screwing down" all the way? The coils screwing down into the base? If the ciols aren't screwed down far enough the rubber seal around the base won't stop the fluid from leaking? If you are talking about screwing the complete tank down to the mod that can depend on the mod. I have several differant mods and the tanks all screw down to differant positions on each mod. Is there a local store you can visit? Have you tried the protanks on your evod battery? Do you have the same problem? The replacement coils have been hit or miss and I thinks it the production trying to keep up with demand. Hope you get something figured out.

Your in this deep, kanger has much better tanks than the PT2 now. The aerotanks are much more like the smoking experience. Also your juices are bad if they aren't natural tobacco's or WTAs. You need real tobacco flavor from tobacco. Everyone is different but I couldn't quite till I found real nets and aromas wta. I quit on good Friday, now I'm making my own ejuice nets with real pipe tobacco. I enjoy this much more than smoking. I always thought I was addicted to smoking but the flavor paid a big part (that said I'm still at 24mg/ml.)

Clearos are inherently flawed. Rebuilding for many newer users may seem confusing, and could be downright dangerous if they're not careful. I've found the most consistent set-up to be a carto tank. I use IBtanked and Smok tanks exclusively. By no means am I saying you should do what I do, but everything in vaping comes with a trade-off. There isn't a "perfect system" that works flawlessly every single time. Every delivery device or delivery system comes with its own sets of foibles and quirks. It's merely a little effort to figure these out and how to deal with them. Nothing is easier than lighting up a cigarette and then flicking the .... away. But at this point, do you really wanna go back? I'm used to seeing rage quit posts on mmo forums, but here we try to help you back.

RocketPunk put it clearly and well:

"Clearos are inherently flawed"

This is an unavoidable truth. Every person that I have ever met in real life who stated otherwise had merely gotten proficient at correcting the faults of whichever clearo they liked. And that's fine - but you have to understand that clearos, all of them, comes with problems.
That's what is bothering you, so just avoid them.
Cartos are as hassle free as non RBA vaping gets.

I would have to disagree with one thing Rocket said, though - and that's the part that every delivery system has it's problems. I have a Kayfun set up with SS mesh that has been running without a hitch for more than three months now. All I do is clean it, and burn the coil clean between refills.

I also have a couple of Genesis attys that are going on several months with the same wick as well.

I think it all boils down to desire, if you have the desire to quit and desire to vape you will make the effort to learn. I do not want to come across harsh but what I'm trying to say is none of us knew what we were doing at first and we have all had equipment failure and upsets, but if you have determination and make the effort on your part it does get better. The more you learn and grow, the better your vaping expirence becomes. We all had to make a effort to get to where we are today. Upsets do happen but we didn't give up. That's where it comes down to YOU and desire. If you really wanted to quit smoking you would not give up so easily. I've had my fair share of malfunctioning equipment but I kept trying to learn, and the more I learned the better my vaping expirence became. I started out knowing absolutely nothing but I made a effort to grow and I had a lot of things fail along the way but I had determination to quit smoking and have a better vaping expirence. So i kept trying. And then I eventually learned and succeeded. I took advice, I listened, I tried and when I failed with my builds or equipment I got back and tried again. Now my vaping expirence is 200% better than when I began. I learned new things and my goal was to improve my experience. But giving up was not optional. So by you giving up so easily tells me you may not really be ready to quit for whatever reason. If your not willing to put the effort into quitting that's necessary and take the bad with the good and keep on trying, it might not be the right time in your life right now to quit. Because it will take determination and effort on your part and a determination to continue even when you have set backs. If your willing to give up so easily then maybe this isn't your right time to quit. But eventually you will get to that point where you are determined to quit and you will be ready and won't give up so easily.until that time, I wouldn't blame vaping, I'd say you just were not yet ready to put forth the effort. You will know when you have had enough and are truly ready to quit smoking. I do urge you not to give up so easily but I know if your not entirely ready to quit, you won't yet have that determination it takes. So i really hope this does not sound harsh because that was not my intent. I'm just saying when you are truly ready to quit and make that change you won't be willing to give up so easily. I wish you the very very best. I know someday you will truly be ready. Until then, you have to do what you feel you need to do. I wish you the best.

??

I am advocating cartos - as .... basic as it gets.

My statement was more about the thread in general, but your post saying "clearos, all of them, comes with problems" was a tipping point. I use carts and clearos daily. Clearos comes with less problems than carts in my vaping experience. And yet, both are very easy to use and sufficient enough for me for the foreseeable future.

Ah, I see.

This is the old different strokes for different folks thing.

Personally, clearos gave me so many problems that I damn near quit vaping, just like this guy. I spent hundreds trying different ones, the best result was to have it work good out of the box, and then have problems with replacement coils. Every time I discussed it with someone who loved whatever clearo I was trying, there was a workaround - but I didn't want a workaround, I wanted a vape.

I have rarely, if ever, had problems from a carto. As a matter of fact, the only reason I say "rarely" rather than "never" is because the might very well have been an issue I don't recall.

I should thank clearos for one thing, however - they got me into RBA's. I can now build a Genesis atty to perfection, and love it.

I think you and I may be talking about different types of clearos and cartos, which may be relevant to discussion in this thread.

I always have used disposable carts and clearos, and have yet to rebuild a component. So, with that in mind, I do prefer clearos to carts. But I like both and really like that there are dozens of options (of the advanced kind) in case I tire of my simple set up.

i WAS A PT2 guy. I just recently got the Aerotank and WOW. Try the Aerotank. It's all I use now.

I just bought three Aerotank Megas and love the SS tanks. You can drive nails with that bad boy! I love the airflow adjustment. We'll worth the money. My wife found them for $27 somewhere and bought two more. I don't care what they cost as I have been fed up with flooding tanks and crappy airflow. These dual coil dreams are the best I have found yet!

i will cut back to none soon enough.

i ordered a boge f-16 carto and a 5 pack of replacements. hope i didnt waste anymore money, also bought a plain blueberry flavored e liquid, and a plain strawberry flavored e liquid from mt baker. i will go as simple as possible, anything to quit cigarettes

Their Blueberry & Strawberry flavors are very good.
Blackberry and Hawk Sauce too if you like the ones you ordered.
They'll need 12 hours or so with the caps off to aerate.
Some people like their berry flavors OOTB but they'll get even better with time.
