I stopped vaping for a year or two and was coming from old tanks like the Kanger Protank. I liked the idea of the RDA because of less leaking and messes. However after a few weeks of being back into vaping again I'm curious about the Avocado because it looks like a good combination of the flavor of an RDA but the convenience of a tank.
At the end of the day, my best RTA will never equal the flavor of my best RDA.

Just trying to temper expectations.

Well I finally pulled the trigger on this indigestion machine. It took this friggin' long because I chose to acquire it through an Aussie vendor. I've had my Avo 22 for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it. It's my go to tank for a nice warm wet flavourful vape. At least with the 24mm version, I will not have to refill as oftern.

However, there seems to be a new competitor on the market, the Ijoy Limitless, and some youtube reviewers are already proclaiming it to be better than the Avo 24.

Does anyone have both the Avo 24 and Ijoy Limitless? I'd like hear your thoughts.

Edit: Oops, I forgot to mention that my Avo 24 ought to arrive by Thursday-Friday.

What is the consensus on wicking technique? This is the first tank I still can't seem to get the hang of. More cotton, less cotton, longer into the tank, shorter into the tank, still fairly consistently getting dry hits. Can't seem to nail it down. My initial 3mm Clapton ran like a champ for a while, then suddenly choked off and never recovered. Every other build comes out dry. Driving me nuts.

One end of the cotton barely in the hole, the other one full in the tank.

Make sure you poke a hole in the cotton where it goes through the juice hole, it needs air moving into the tank to create the vacuum for wicking.

Also the cotton expands over time, so I will pull mine and trim a tad off if it starts choking.

Just got mine today. That was fun trying to get the wicks in those holes. Lol.

I love the look of the frosted tank, but using clear liquid makes it damn near impossible to see how much liquid is left in there. I can see myself switching it out soon, sadly.

So far, it's pretty nice.

My ADV juice is really clear and I'm having the exact same reaction to using the frosted glass... which sucks because I really like the look of it too.

Open the juice fill latch and dip in an allen key into the juice well to get a reading. Not much else you can do for now if you want to stick with the frosted glass and clear e-liquids.

My frosty in the graveyard. Worthless. At the wattage I'm vaping I cannot afford a dry hit. Definitely need a few spare clear ones...any lines on those.

Also see the rubber gasket at he fill holes tearing or ripping off while jamming glass dropper tips into it constantly.

Dont over tighten the 510....just snug it semi firm. I read where somebody broke their glass reassembling...

Mine doesn't like 100VG. It backs up on a refill. I shoot it into one hole, and it backs out of the other. Anyone else experiencing this/got any remedies?
Mine only comes out when I overfill it. Are you saying your max vg goes in one hole and comes out the other[emoji15]

That makes no sense if tour tank is empty to start with. Is your wick in the way?

No, I mean, what's in there already squirts out the other fill-hole when I refill. Hard to explain lol.

Definitely not wicks being in the way. I've had this issue with other tanks before that didn't have wide fill-holes. I'm assuming because the VG is so thick, it plugs up one of the holes and causes pressure issues. What I've been doing is sticking something in one of the fill-holes to unclog it, then I refill. And that works okay as long as I don't squirt it in too fast.

Same thing happens when I DIY my juice. If the unicorn bottles I'm using have very small mouths, VG will back up and just ooze out as I squirt it in. 100%VG is a pain sometimes. Lol

This thing is pretty awesome. I just got it today and filled it up for the first time. Flavor is not as good as my Velocity RDA, however I just realized now that I'm running a tank I should have ordered the juice with max flavor. This was not recommended by my shop when I was using an RDA before. The flavor did seem to improve tho over time as the wicks got more saturated. The dry hits went away too.
The amount of vapor/clouds it produces seems to be the same as my Velocity, which I like.
The wicking was a little tough to do. Does anyone wick their Avocado with the deck detached from the tank? Seems like you could really get the wicks squared away if you had access to the bottom of the deck. However you would obviously have to drain all the juice out of it first to avoid a mess.
This thing seems to really go through juice too. 4ml was almost gone after 30-40 minutes of driving today. It might not have the flavor of my RDA because I'm not dripping right in the coils but atleast I can get 20-30 drags out of it before I need a refill. So far so good.

Not going to lie, I'm having a hard time with this Avocado; scratching my head on what I'm doing wrong wicking wise. 70/30 should be no problemo right?
Post a pic. Make sure to do the genny tilt. When I do a full tilt I can vape basically the whole tank straight through without a dry hit with awesome flavor every hit.

Try wicks just through into the tank and make sure the wick is not stopping up the deck hokes.

I was never a huge fan of flavor from my Velocity to start with. Try different coils and wicks if yiu feel like it. Having a tank like this is pretty sweet.
