Does anybody else's Avocado 24 have a whistle to it? Mine is very loud, and turbulent sounding, with a slight whistle when using full airflow. When I close the airflow off even a little, it's a very noticeable whistle sound. The more I close the airflow, the worse the whistle is. Not a big deal to me, but those around me HATE it. Lol

I played around with mine, ended up moving the coils around a little and it quieted down a lot. Just air turbulence as it passes through the air holes and gets redirected by the coil. But you really want to hear a loud one? Try the Limitless...omfg...

Well so far using this tank for abt 2weeks my result are
Yes u can mtl when closed off airhole just to 1 hole and abt leaking issues : yes it leaks just a little bit not from the juice well like my theorem which practically cannot be taken out of the house. It leaks because of the left off residue from a lot of vapor. Basically what i mean is after the vapor condenses it changes back to liquid which piles up in the top cap so it will leak a tiny bit from the air hole but personally I dont mind cause just wipe it a little And ur good plus when ur not using it just close off the airhole lol
For this amazing flavor, I would say I dont mind this small issue ~ plus wicking is pretty darn easy to do and looks great too.
Neva regretted buying the 24 which Theorem really did disappoint me lolView attachment 557053View attachment 557055
I am surprised your theorem leaks as I cannot get mine to leak. Mabey you got juice on the bottom o rings. I am thinking about the avocado 24 but do not feel like drilling larger wick holes.

The funny thing is I have seen many posts that state that others have no leaks with their theorem, i usually have it on tbe side in a small bag to carry around , not in a pocket so maybe thats why it leaks or I just got a defective product lol anyways the Avo is my to go tank and everyday just loving it!

I like the verticals, I might try that for better results.
Are you splitting the tails between each hole?

Is there any fix for the super loose AFC control other than washing it? That only lasts for a little bit before it gets juice in there and spins freely again.

Wicking this thing is a pig, any tips or pictures with single coil, how much are you thinning the tails?

I got rid of the Theroem because of broken glass tanks and the inability to fill it easily, I should have picked up a Limitless instead of the 24.

Thanks!

Asked in the other thread as well...

Really for anyone who may have experience, but does anyone also have a Serpent Mini? I know they are fundamentally different but wonder how it compares in terms of flavor?
I am sorry, I did not buy a Serpent Mini due to the leaking issues I had with the serpent. I spent months trying everything in the books and this forum to get it to stop, but alas as soon my RTA25 and Avacado24's were delivered, I never looked back. I can speak to the flavor imho of course is better than the regular Serpent. That is single coil to single coil. You can really ramp up the flavor with dual coils but the juice consumption is off the charts!

Yes, split tails between two holes on each side. Getting the perfect amount of wick into the tank takes a little practice. I like to get the wick just below the deck holes into the tank otherwise you end up limiting the volume in your tank since it is used up by too much wick. The other trick is the right amount of wick into the deck holes. Too much wick and it's a choke point. Too little and it will flood when you tilt and vape.

Thanks, I tried a vertical last night and split the tails, it's working but I can still only do a quick pull from the 8 wrap 24g 3mm coil. I'll trim the tails more and see.

Of all the attys I have, including the mesh built Genesis ones, the 24 has given me nothing but trouble. I must be getting old... :D

Sorry. Are you tilting it when you hit it?

If you want, Google "rip trippers avocado 24"

It's Rip at his manic best but it's a great shill for the tank. Watch him vape it. He's tilting it every time to get the juice to the wicks.

I'm the same way, my mini hasn't leaked a drop since I've had it. Never layed it on it's side to test it, but that'd be the only way this thing could leak for me. Love this little guy!!
I've been unable to make my serpent mini leak, wick down to the well and done, easy build, awesome flavor! Avocado 24 should be here on Monday.

I'll watch Rip do it up, thanks!
Yea Dragon, let us know.

I just rewicked. My wick had "fallen" so was not making full contact woth all of my inner coil.

I really really pulled a fat wick through this time on both sides. I then split the tails and cut off half of the wick on each side....cut off the wick thickness and stuffed the remainder through the deck. If I stuffed the full wick through it would have never fed properly. It is vaping really well now. Make sure you really stuff your coils with wick....
