I figured out a solution to the slow wick process. Hope this works for y'all cuz it works for me. First I stuffed the juice wells with wads of cotton, a little past the guide ring. F@#k what the reviewers said and how they built it (probably getting paid or influenced by free ohm reader n wires they got from geek vape). Then I filled it with the juice flow slightly opened, with a napkin to catch the leak along the airholes. I screwed the top cap on tight maintaining the pressure, right side up. Immediately close the juice flow, and blow out any leaking juice, catching it with the napkin along the airholes. Now open up the juice holes, slightly open (same as u filled it). For me atleast, it wicks like a champ. I can chain vape up to 80w on a .19 ohm clapton build, 3mm bit. Always close the juice flow when ur not using it and it wont leak.
I was content at 2mm bit, low builds, at low watts, but thats not what I bought this tank for. I figure, if it doesn't want to wick, ill force it to!!! Posted some pics to help out. Hope this helps out.
As for my juice flow issue (the base not detaching from chimney). I just finger tighten it and make sure to turn it left and right, (instead of one direction) so its a lot easier for me to remove the deck. I took off the guide ring too, cuz it keeps getting stuck in the chimney, at least for me.
