Good that you're starting with a horizontal coil with the wicks dipped at both ends. Classic gennies can present a steep learning curve.

Probably best left for another thread or PM, so as not to derail this one any further, short version is she is not on ECF right now.Sorry I'm late to the party. But what happened to Roxy?
Mine was so tight from o-rings being dry I drove the drip tip out thru the top with a brass bit and small ball peen hammer..I finally got my Griffin, but out of the box I am unable to open the topfill. The piece that the driptip connects with will not unscrew from the RB lid/stem. Any ideas? Thanks <3 (sorry for lurking so much![]()

Just curious why you would you own a great dual coil RTA like the Griffin and cut it back to a single coil?I've gotta try the block from my avocado in the Griffin some time. May work, I dunno.

If you like single coils why are you putting down people who like dual coils in this Griffin thread? Why do you assume 'kids' only like clouds? Never mind, we don't really need to know why after all..see'ya!Geez. The young kids these days only care for dual coils, triple coils, quad coils and clouds. Bugger off and leave us in peace with single coils!

My Griffin wicks way to fast! lol . It literally drinks my juice. I also use 80VG/20PG liquids and I have not problem with my wicking at all. Probably the problem is with your wicking method.HELP!!! how are you guys getting the griffin to wick fast? i'm running an 80/20 vg pg mix and find even with barely any cotton tucked inside the wick retainer ring, it's just not wicking as fast as i'd like it. also, it seems since the atty chamber/juice control barrel is so close to the glass, the air bubbles are having a hard time escaping the juice holes. maybe i can bore out the juice holes in the barrel???
i'm guessing the 25 won't have this problem since there will be more space between the glass and the barrel for air/juice to escape/enter. thanks guys!
