Not to get sidetrack even more, but I love the Calix. It's in my everyday rotation, such an awesome flavorful atty, and so short compared to others and the amount of juice it holds. The bottom AF is just perfect for me too, besides trying the top out a couple times, I just roll with the bottom.

There is a review video that shows you how to properly place the legs of the coil, but it's really not that hard. Go with a spaced coil, it works really well, and you don't wind up with crazy long legs.

You're going to like it...

...just like we're going to like the GEM when it arrives (and back on track, lol)

Just one more quick question then no more hijacking ;) Nickel, how's the Calix with nickel? Looks like it would be awesome. But I do know looks can be deceiving?

I bought a Calix last night too! I think FedEx in Greece I think doesn't open up til Tues due to Easter holiday - fyi. I'm hoping for mine on Thurs this week in Pittsburgh, PA.

Also awesome! Glad to have others in my "club" of buying Calix. The thread below is the only one I know of really. Check it out. Calix probably first got discussed like a month or so ago maybe? Maybe a little more?

Haven't tried it with nickel yet.
am I right that access to the deck will require the tank to be drained/empty?

Oh man really, they do celebrate Easter later than we do don't they. That means I'm going to have to wait too. Oh, and I'm not good at waiting. And here I was thinking Fed Ex was going to ship to me so much faster than Royal Mail. Urg [emoji30]

The GEM is designed to remove the deck without draining the tank. It is very simple.

That is great! Just had another look and came to the same conclusion. My bad but thansk anyway for confirming! I cant wait to get hold of one of these devices. They are surely beautifully engineered. :)

Yeah it was actually Billie that gave me that heads up. I had shot him a PM as an FYI that I finally placed my order - haha.

He told me FedEx is usually 2 days to the east coast of the US and 3 to the west. I don't know about the Royal Kingdom

lol. I did but on reflection is wasnt a clear yes or no. My feeling is that it needs to be dissembled. I'l watch it again...:)

Sorry brother, that vid was left ambiguous purposefully. It is a "teaser" - clipped from a full review and setup tutorial that I have, but didn't upload since we are on a Beta phase.

Ps.: And Sedge has already clarified your query as I see.

Well I live in the States - Utah to be exact, so I'll take anything that's less than the 15 days it usually takes with Royal Mail and USPS ;)

Just saw your teaser video Qorax. The glimpse of the deck has me wondering, is it room enough for nickel builds? Tried it?

Vaks, I have rebuilt it with Ni200 as well. No issues setting it up - and vapes just a s nice :)

Ps.: The deck is very akin to SqR's, but half the size. Yet roomy enough.
