Wow guys, thanks. Damn, now I wish I wouldn't have asked because in my head I was thinking I would hate it because it would be too big so I wouldn't want one. Now, thanks to you guys, I won't be able to stop thinking about it until I get one. ;) Seriously tho!
It's not even close its the best. Also, the lightest and shortest 18650 DNA30 tube mod (I almost want to say L/S 18650 regulated tube PERIOD)

I still marvel at the screen, it's amazing how it is perfectly flush, and the threads are WARM butter, just "butter" doesn't impart how smooth they actually are, lol.

P3 is a world class reg. mod, as is the WAE. Both are a joy to use. Things you don't see is the button operation. P3 has a longer, but nice "throw" like your pushing on felt. WAE is insanely precise, like you just touch it.

Hell, just breathe on it. Phil could barely measure the amount of force it takes to push the WAE button, lol

They are in stock on Mark Bugs website and the last I checked the exchange rate wasn't bad either.

Yeah, I think mine was $280 shipped from MB, and arrived in 2 days after it shipped out.

Compare that to what ElectronicStix is selling them for, and its a no brainer to grab one straight from the source.

Anavidfan would also be an option, I know she has a mint WAE2 for sale.

$278 is a great price, I paid $300 for mine USED here on ECF... (used but it was like brand new), anyway I can't remember now, but I think at release they were closer to $340 shipped? I guess the exchange rate was different then? Like I said I paid $300 USED.

Reading the comments make me smile because they are all so true, but until you've used a WAE2 you won't understand how true it all is. The threads, the weight, everything - if there is 1 negative it would be the finish is (IN MY OPINION) delicate. There was some debate about that issue on the WE thread with me and a couple of the other owners... Admittedly I pamper my vape gear, so little scratches drive me nuts.

I will also say that Mark Bugs offers amazing customer service too. If owning what I consider to be a high end elite regulated mod, this is it. Yes there is more expensive, and because its a DNA device a cheaper device may give the same vape... but there is a difference in driving a Yugo and a Rolls Royce too... they both transport you to your destination, but one does it a little nicer than the other. ;)

There hasn't been a day in months that I haven't thought of having a GEM to go with my WE. My concern is that they will be sold out on release day before I can place an order. I would hope that a market analysis was done to estimate the amount of units needed for supply and demand. Not everyone can afford a Ferrari but at least if you want one you can get one. I'm even willing to wait in a long line for a fabulous steak at an elite steak house, but if I get seated and I'm told they've run out of steaks, it says volumes for their customer satisfaction. I think Rip Trippers was right on when he discussed the subject of products coming on the market but not able to support demand; it's a trigger for Chinese Clones. I will always purchase originals if I can. But recently I bought my first Clone, a Plume Veil and couldn't be happier; well other than having the original. If they can clone a Kayfun V4 they can and will clone this GEM and people will buy them, not just because they are half the price, but because they are available. So I hope all of us who have been waiting have an opportunity to purchase the carrot that's been dangling in front of us.

To my knowledge, none of the Mark Bugs devices have ever been cloned? I seem to remember someone (Qorax?) seeing pictures (his pictures) on a Alibaba I think it was, but AFAIK the product never made it to market. I've seen clone vaporshark, kayfun, taifun, c'hana, evolv, the list is long... but TO MY KNOWLEDGE never seen a Wizard mod or any of his tanks? I'd be curious to know if anything of his ever actually was cloned? (pm me if you actually know of or seen anything)

I'm going to assume no, I think his "followers" are a niche market, and not as mainstream as say Provari followers, etc... I think those of us who KNOW about Mark Bugs products, *WANT* mark bugs products where "the man on the street" wouldn't even know who you'd be talking about.

^^ Yes, there will always be guys who will buy Counterfeits. And mind you they're not in the scheme of things, b'coz those folks will never buy an authentic. They are just not in the same league.

Kayfun4 or whatever, yes they'd be counterfeited. But counterfeiting is ROBBERY And abetting it is also a CRIME. So, which page should we be on - and what should we be teaching our children?

I would never turn this into a clones vs authentic debate........ ;)

I'm just saying of all the clones I've seen - Never seen a MB product that I know of.
You are correct. Fortunately none of MB's gear/s have been counterfeited, yet.

The point I was making had nothing to do with advocating the making of clones; just want to make that clear. What we perceive here as a "crime" is seen as opportunity in China.
The point I was making is build enough product to support your client’s needs. If the product gets great reviews but the manufacture can’t supply or fill demand, they create the opportunity themselves for opportunists to clone and make them.
I used the Plume Veil only as one of several examples. Aethertech manufactured a fine product, gets lots of attention on the internet by Reviewers; people want one but not enough units are made. It doesn’t take long for China to quickly realize there is a demand not being met by the original manufacture, and so the opportunity is created.
I have a nice collection of “original” Mods, RBA’s and RDA’s and as long as what I’m looking for is available I will always prefer buying an original and paying the premium price, because the credit belongs to the creator of the design and manufacture. For me it’s not about the original price, it’s simply getting what is advertised. As with the Plume Veil in my case, that company deserves all the credit; I’d gladly pay their price but it simply wasn’t available anywhere including my search on Ebay. $29 for a $120 RDA and best of all it was AVAILABLE.
I’m concerned because I have a MB WE, and I want his GEM RBA, but while the pictures have been great, there hasn’t been any information about how many units will be available, price, and the date seems to be a moving target. Yes I hope this is an indication that more time was needed to produce plenty enough product for all interested parties. If I have to stay up until 11:00 PM to place an order for the opening bell at 9:00 UK time that’s fine. But an exact date would be much appreciated. Coming soon, I hope?
