Okay, on aesthetics alone I am going to have to start socking money away. If you actually use your WAE how do you not buy the only atty that truly matches. Spent the day at a crew race and with a simple single coil 0.6 build at 20 watts it lasted the bulk of the day.

Next week the complete first batch would be ready ~ and a Sale/s Day is likely to be announced.

Hang in there folks :)
Oh, first batch...hopefully that means the existence of more than one batch will get a GEM into the hands of most people here who want one.

Can't. Wait. Eeep.

I am betting on this approach too. The question is how many are in the first batch and if you do miss out do you die of a heart attack waiting and worrying about the second batch ever being made.[emoji3]

Seriously, I thought Bugs was more about delivering a unique premium product to those who want and can afford it and then moving onto the next one rather than changing a stripe and having 20 limited editions of the same thing.

perhaps somewhere in between is a better business model - adequate supply of a high-end product but dont saturate. If you have customer demand for 1000 and you make 100 that leaves a lot of frustration and, frankly, makes no business sense. If demand for 100 and make 1000, that is also nuts. There is a balance which can be hard to find!

Actually between a batch approach and the fact that all their serials have 3 digits he can build to fit demand fairly closely anywhere from 0-1000. This is how I see a number of the higher end makers doing it. A combination of avoiding excess inventory and capacity limitations dictate that approach. And also in this case he is making a 21mm atty with a finish that only matches his stuff. And he know how many WAE's, etc. he has sold. [emoji4]

I would think 1000 units would be necessary just to support the European market and the US market alone, much less the rest of the planet. Internet exposure is global, yes???
Personally I would have preferred a prepayment option; at least that would indicate quantity needed and assure interested buyers can buy one. (and only 1 per buyer)
I think 100 units would not only be ridicules, also very disappointing for anyone who’s been waiting to purchase.
I’ve put a hold on buying another RTA until I see the outcome of this.

1000 units for a 21mm atty in a non-standard finish for what I assume will be an expensive atty would really surprise me unless I am underestimating the installed base of WAE mods. How many authentic expensive attys have you ever seen with even 500 sold other than those that have been offered for years and are standard 22mm.

Great news! Any word on when you will be able to post the video?

On the day the "sale/s date" is announced. Btw, I'm itching to upload it as well ;)

Oh yes, I'm told that enough units would be ready, so that Hunger Games opening scene might not happen!

I'd hope he would at least produce as many gem as there are wizards, considering its designed specifically for said mod ;)
