Why would one use mesh in the Gem? High VG e-liquid? I've pretty much always used Muji or KGD cotton since I learned to rebuild coils.

I feel mesh picks out the flavour notes of more complex liquids better than cotton. But not all juice benefits from it but YMMV It's just a nice option for a change.

Mesh Wick =
1. Longevity of the build,
2. Easier to work with (if you know what you're doing),
3. Clear taste (of the juice ~ better than ... cotton or Rayon), IMO,
4. Avoids the need of frequent re-wicking',
5. Caveat: Not particularly suitable for vapor chasing

Romania is EU so not sure what is going on. Probs should pay tax up front in Rom but we will see I guess. Hadnt thought too much about that until you mentioned it! Hopefully I wont get a bill for £30 or so tomorrow!!

I paid $49, twice, for my two GEMS
And $65 for my WAE-II
Fortunately, my WAE (v1) rolled out free of duties ~ it was a via-USA purchase
